TO MAY, being on the new, unknown ship was interesting. it was much more different than the ark, different interior, different style, pretty much everything was different except the dystopian look for the ship.
but the twenty-four year old kept cautious, and made sure to keep nini right by her side incase anything were to happen. "mom." nini said with an eyebrow raised, grabbing may's attention.
"yes, sweetie?" may answered casually, before throwing her orange space suit on the floor.
"now that we aren't on the ark anymore, you're not gonna start hogging me close to you, right?"
may stopped, and looked at nini, before sighing. back on the ark, may had no problem with where or what nini was doing, because they were safe, and away from any dangers. but now that they're in completely new territory, may was planning on keeping her daughter close. but just as nini suspected, she was right.
nini took may's sigh as a yes, "i'll make sure to stay close to you, i promise." she told may, flashing her a smile. all she wanted was to make her mother happy, considering all that she's done for her.
"c'mon we gotta move fast." bellamy instructed, waving spacekru from out of the docking bay. one by one, they all followed him out, being faced with the big door in front next.
being suspicious on what could be on the other side, echo unsheathed her sword, earning a look of uncertainty from bellamy. echo was quick to explain herself, "we don't know what we're walking into."
bellamy didn't say anything, and pressed the big red button that opened the airlock doors, revealing a loud, blaring alarm from the attached speakers. "well, that's just annoying." murphy stated, referring to the loud noise.
"if someone was here, they would shut it off, right?" harper concluded, being the first to walk out after bellamy. one by one, everybody piled out, but raven decided to hold emori back, instructing her to run a flight check on the pod.
"this place is creepy." may told harper, as that was so far the only opinion she had on the place.
harper snickered, and crossed her arms, "yeah, but hopefully we can find something useful."
