NOT LONG AFTER LEXA WAS UNFORTUNATELY PRONOUNCED DEAD THE THREE TEENS HAD TO MOVE ASIDE THEIR FEELINGS AND ACT FAST. not only was it the fact that they were trapped in a bedroom by titus for however long, may had a bullet lodged in her shoulder. thankfully the bleeding was stopped but that wasn't the only problem, she was going to get an infected wound if they didn't remove it, and soon.

"may, please." clarke begged the seventeen year old, concern etching her features while she and murphy were trying to convince the wounded girl of coming to their preferred conclusion, which so far wasn't working.

"no." may stated insistently, making sure to keep her hand on her wrapped up wound incase blood were to start pouring out of it once again, "we have to take it out, the other choice is too risky and you know it, clarke. it just barely hit the pectoralis muscle, which means i have a chance of making it, but we gotta take it out now or i won't survive tomorrow."

clarke let out a frustrated sigh before pressing her dry lips together into a thin line. she knew may was right, she was a certified surgeon after all. but if the blonde was honest, she wanted to keep the bullet inside of may, and do a procedure later, but she knew she couldn't. she was just scared, scared to loose her and hear the girl go through too much pain. "may." the blonde began, placing her hands on her own hips, "i have enough tools in my pack to do this but—there's no medication, or anesthetic, you'll feel it all, during and after."

murphy was quick to step into the discussion between the two teenage girls, his pleading eyes looking towards may "look she's right, may." he then looked to clarke, "can't we just ask them for some of their medicine?"

clarke shook her head firmly, "no, we can't do that."

"why not?" he prodded further, shrugging his shoulders nonchalantly. murphy wanted to act calm in front of the girls, but on the inside he was frantic. the first thing he didn't want since seeing may again was to be her screaming and crying in pain, he wanted to hug her, and tell her everything was gonna be okay because he was now in her presence. but he knew she was angry at him, he could see it in her gorgeous eyes he admired every time she took a look at him.

"titus locked us in here for a reason, we can't make any noise or let anyone else in this tower know we're in here." clarke explained further to the seventeen year old boy.

may just shook her head, before moving over to clarke's bed, making sure to peel off the fur blanket that contained lexa's blood as well. "c'mon—we're doing this now, the sooner, the better." she looked between the two concerned figures that stood upon her, "clarke, get your tools. murphy—get over here."
