IT HAD BEEN LONG SEVERAL MINUTES SINCE MAY FINALLY REGAINED CONSCIOUSNESS. she was stuck in a very uncomfortable position, she laid flat on her stomach, with rubble piled on top of her thighs, making it impossible for her to move. she was breathing in dirt, and ash, and had no choice to since she was stuck in place. every time she moved a muscle in her leg an intense pain shot straight through, and she knew she was injured. the only thing was, it was too dark for her to see, and she didn't know if she were bleeding.

but she did know she was bleeding from her forehead, she could feel the warm blood trickling down her face and onto the cracked floor she laid upon. soon when she lost enough blood, she could easily pass out or die of blood loss from being anemic.

may tried to shake off her pessimistic thoughts as she shivered from the cold, her lips were quivering, and she hugged herself to keep warm, but it wasn't doing any good.

she couldn't help but let out a choked sob as her breathing started to quicken, she was in a small, enclosed space completely covered in dirt, ash, and grime

she couldn't help but let out a choked sob as her breathing started to quicken, she was in a small, enclosed space completely covered in dirt, ash, and grime. and who knew how long they'd been underground, and if anyone were to come and rescue them.

the sound of abby grunting brought may out of her disoriented trance, and she was quick to call out to her, "abby! are you okay?" she asked with a strained tone.

"yeah." abby called out to her, "are you okay? where are you?"

may was unable to see abby, a large piece of rubble placed on top of kane's stomach blocked her from seeing the older woman. "i'm okay." may replied to her, her tone clearly shaken from the situation they were in, "i'm behind the rubble on top of kane. i'm alright."
