MCCREARY AND MURPHY'S PLAN SEEMED TO WORK, the two lovers were thrown in the church with their friends and everyone was reunited. only there was a few setbacks, one of them being the fact that nini was there. may knew that it was going to be a problem, seeing as she would put everyone after her daughter and would make as many irrational decisions as it took to save nini.

everyone, as in murphy, may, nini, echo, raven, and emori, were sitting around together in the middle of the church, away from everyone else that happened to be inside. echo looked at the coughing man not too far from them, "i still can't believe you helped cure them." she spoke to raven, bewildered at the fact.

"take it easy." murphy encouraged echo in a low tone, "that guy look cured to you?"

"maybe it didn't work." nini suggested, shrugging her shoulders nonchalantly.

"it worked." emori replied, "she built it."

"exactly." echo agreed, her tone clearly bitter, "a war's coming, and yet she passes up every opportunity we get to weaken the enemy."

"what is your problem?!" raven snapped, her tone a bit higher than it should be.

"quiet." murphy instructed her, paranoid that one would hear or grow suspicious of their discussion.

"okay enough." may demanded in a whisper tone, "we all have been through so much together we can't just throw each other under the bus now."

"we're still on the same team, right?" murphy added on to may's words, agreeing with what she said. when no one replied, he prodded further, "right?"

echo nodded lowly, not necessarily wanting to agree with murphy but doing so anyway. "good. then we're agreed." murphy concluded, "we kill the pilot. then we pop off these collars and run like hell."

"if we can slip the collars, we don't have to kill him." raven proposed, obviously desperate for the pilot not to be killed, "besides, he's more valuable alive. as a spy, you should know that."

may tussled her hair to the side, as it was beginning to get in the way, "i agree, i think we need him."

"what i know is that a dead man can't fly a ship or fire missiles at the people we love." echo snapped back, her arms crossed. may always disliked how stubborn echo was, but she considered the woman family, and knew she still loved her no matter what her personality.
