"I need something to look to at the end of this week. I won't survive this week without an inspiration."
Napakunot ang noo ko sa tugon niya.
"Guys, what if pa-Boracay tayo sa Friday?
Boracay?!
"Guys?" she asked again.
"Pwede din. We can stay there until Saturday or Sunday if we have nothing to do," ani Dominic habang nagpapatuloy na sa pagkain.
"Sab?"
"Sorry, guys. Hindi ako pwede. May trabaho ako."
I saw how both of their faces went disappointed because of my response.
"I'm really sorry, Xy.
"My treat!" she immediately said while raising her hand, "I mean, travel, rest house, food are all on me. Just go with us please."
She's pouting again. She really want me to go with them huh?
"I really can't, Xy.
"I... I'm-" I was about to say sorry when Dominic cutted me off.
"You can ask a workmate to cover your shift for one or two nights.
"Seph's right, Sab. Go with us please," Xyrine said again while clasping both her hands.
"I'll try, guys, but please don't expect. Mukhang hindi talaga ako makakasunod sa inyo."
"I wish you can find a workmate to cover your shift and I wish your boss would let you off even just for two nights."
After our lunch, we went back to our own classrooms- Xyrine on the Nursing Building while I and Dominic on the Quezon Hall.
We just have our discussion for our last class and it only lasted for an hour so here I am now with Dominic, walking towards the main exit of West.
"M-may gagawin ka?"
He just nodded as a response.
