Her hands gripped his arm as she trudge down in blindness, purely placing her trust on him.
"You have night blindness, don't you?" He mumbled to which he felt her stop.
"I don't. I just. I just have really bad eyesight when it's dark" she mumbled
His eyes darted to her fingers, chuckling when he saw her thumb scratching her finger.
"Why are you laughing at me?" She grumbled as her feet hovered on the next step infront of her.
"You're really bad at lying, doll" he mumbled with a smile.
She clicked her tongue as she continued to walk down slowly.
Her feet almost slipped down earning a small shriek from her but luckily her grip on his arm stopped her.
Letting out a small breath chishiya removed her arm before circling his around her petite waist.
Her breath hitched a bit, shivering at the feeling of his warm hand against her skin.
The feeling of being touched so gently and without the underlying meaning of fucking her was a bit strange and new to her.
She felt jittery at the feeling as they continued to strut down the stairs.
She gasped as soon as she regained eyesight upon entering the basement that was Brightly lit up.
"You're the nightingale aren't you.." they both heard akiro mumbled.
Turning to where he was looking at, all the jittery, happy feeling left sachi as she froze in her spot.
Infront was a small glass room with a locked glass door. A puzzle is inscribed within the locked door.
"Chishiya you should fix the puzzle before time runs out" akiro mumbled as he stood beside the two.
Within the glass room separating them from the 'nightingale' sat a boy who seemed to only be around twelve or thirteen, with an all too familiar collar around his neck.
He sat on the floor almost unmoving as if he was sure he'd die now that the players have found him.
Sachi stared at him, unmoving much to chishiya's confusion.
She seemed mortified at the sight in front of her.
There's only 5 minutes left and so chishiya decided to just step forward and fix the puzzle.
But as soon a he took his first step sachi grabbed his arm stopping him.
"Akiro ni, call all of them" she mumbled loud enough.
"Huh? But-"
"Now" she sternly said with a blank expression.
To this akiro called everyone from above the basement.
"What's wrong?" Chishiya asked but received no answer.
He looked around the room, maybe she noticed something wrong?
But there was nothing out of place at all. Time was running and if they want to clear the game they'd have to release the boy to kill him.
"Roku?" Sachi's small trembling voice echoed through the room.
The boy within the other side of the glass flinched before slowly raising his head.
Her eyes widened, before tears started to line them as her lips quivered.
He stood up hands touching the glass. "N-nii-chan!" He cried out, his now rosy cheeks tainted with tears.
Sachi's heart wrenched at the sight as she stepped forward hands on top of the glass right infront of his small hands.
"Roku! Calm down, niichan will get you out ok?" She said as tears blurred her eyes.
No wonder the humming was so familiar.
She hummed it to him every night when he was still a small child.
Chishiya's hand laid on the small of her back, rubbing a circular motion to calm her down.
Wiping her tears away as she heard the steps of the people coming down the stairs, sachi pulled out the gun from behind her jeans.
"Shuntarou. Fix the puzzle will ya?" She simply stated before turning to the crowd behind her.
Chishiya didn't even think twice. He just followed her words as he started to figure out how to open the door.
He had a small understanding to what her plan is now.
"Great you found it!" One of the players said.
The players relaxed now sure that they won't die.
Akiro stared at sachi's slightly reddish eyes and the cold look on her face that made him shiver.
"Ugh what's taking so long? Why don't you just shoot the glass down" the nosy girl asked.
"Cause there's only one bullet idiotic bitch" sachi mumbled coldly as she start to walk to the girl.
The crowd dispersed fear lingering in the thick air.
"W-what are you doing? We already found the kid! No need to k-kill me.." she said trembling at sachi's dark cold stare.
Everyone's breath hitched as sachi's legs rose into a powerful kick, throwing the girl's body into the floor.
A shriek emitted from her throat as air was knocked from her lungs from the impact.
Everyone from the beach knew she was deadly, but they've never seen this side of her, bloodlust was seen in her eyes.
Everyone jolted hearing sachi load the gun before she crouched down aiming it on the girl's head.
"One minute till the game ends" a sickening announcement was heard.
A series of electronic sound were heard and hurried patting of footsteps closed up on the crowd.
"Niichan! P-please dont kill anymore!" A trembling voice made sachi's stomach churn in a not so good way.
"Roku, go stand with chishiya nii.. close your eyes and cover your ears" she simply stated.
Roku's eyes watered. He knew how much sachi hated their dad for hurting people.
Seven years without her and he knew how much suffering she must've been through.
Whilst he lived comfortably with a nanny, monthly given a large amount of money from his sister.
"Niichan kill me instead" he mumbled as he watched the terrified girl beneath her sister.
"Do you really think i could kill you?" Sachi said as she slowly turned her head to him.
Her eyes was watering. The reason she didn't ever visit him was to make sure he was hidden and safe, not to mention letting him see her kill and torture hundreds of people.
Everyone thought of her as a monster, the last thing she'd want is for roku to thing the same too.
