The news I found out a few nights ago was startling to say the least. My grandmother missing.....and leaving no trace of where she went. I hate the woman with my entire being but it's still concerning. It's plagued my thoughts, what could've possibly happened to the headstrong woman?
"You found an agency for your work study? Congratulations Deku!" Uraraka's voice snapped me out of my thoughts. All of my attention going to Izuku who the brunette was addressing.
"That's awesome!"
"Indeed. Well done, Midoriya." Iida said shaking Izuku's hand.
"Thanks guys." The greenette replied with a shy smile. I giggled at his expression and softly held his free hand, giving it a small squeeze.
"Thank you? You're an example to us all." I said, making Izuku blush softly.
"I dunno how the rest of us are supposed to compete, though." Kaminari joined in walking over with Sato, Kirishima, and Sero.
"Yeah, you'll be working at Sir Nighteye's agency. That's seriously amazing."
"And I hear Togata recommended you."
"Pretty impressive man!"
"Um. Y-Yeah, I guess." Izuku stuttered out, looking down at his hand that was holding my own.
"I wish I had a place picked out. The school said Gunhead hasn't had enough interns, so his agency is a no-go."
"I know what you mean. I wanted to go to Selkie's, but that's out, too."
"Yeah, so is Fourth Kind. He doesn't even accept students for work studies." Uraraka, Tsu, and Kirishima said and I frowned at the news.
I listened to everyone talk about how It's going to be difficult finding an agency so they can do work studies, and every complaint made me realize that I was in the same boat.
I'm not going back to Endeavor! He's such an asshole last time....and dad doesn't even get many students for work studies either....that's great....I'm screwed.
"Then the pros have to take responsibility for whatever happened." Our tired teachers voice knocked me out of dream land and I looked over in his direction, staying put on the couch with Izuku.
