Chapter 35

"So, we're back to normal classes tomorrow, right?"

"I suppose there's no rest for heroes"

"Man, I could use a vacation."

I giggled quietly at my classmates conversation. Everyone was a bit tired, I could tell, but most of us were still pumped from the outcome of the exams. I know I was.

My eyes trailed down to the phone in my hands. I told dad everything that happened today, I also asked about moms recovery.

Dad:

Your mother hasn't remembered anything yet, I'm sorry kitten. I wish I can bring you good news.

That was his answer. A sigh escaped my lips reading it and I frowned. My cat ears flattened against my head from the shift in my mood.

There's been no progress at all....and the police haven't found any leads on the mysterious woman who tried to take me away....

I sighed again and turned my phone off. My mood would just continue to plummet if I keep looking at the text message.

"You." Katsuki's gruff voice filled my ears and I turned around to see who he was talking to, and of course, it was Izuku. The porcupine has been quiet this whole time, not saying a word to anyone after the exams, I hope he doesn't start to blow things up because he failed. "Meet me out front later. We need to have a talk about your quirk."

Once Bakugou said these words towards Izuku, I gasped. I knew that Bakugou knew something was up with Izukus quirk. I just didn't think he'd confront him so fast.

Shit.....can't you do this some other time Katsuki.

Izuku stared at Bakugou's back with shock filled in his eyes. He could only get out a simple "Okay." Was he really going to meet him tonight?

"Izuku." My freckled boyfriend jumped when I called out to him. He whipped his head in my direction and saw me walking up to him.

"(Y-Y/N), did you hear?" He asked nervously. I nodded at his question and pulled him to the side where no one else could hear us.

"I did hear.....are you going to meet him?" I asked, looking at him with concern.

"Y-Yeah....I have to. You know how Kacchan can get...He's probably figured out my quirk.....and how I got it..." He replied, looking down at his arms with his eyes narrowed.

I bit my lip and looked down at my feet. Something's going to go down tonight, I can feel it. "Alright, just....be careful okay." I quickly leaned forward and pulled him into a hug. He hugged back immediately, calming my nerves a bit.

"I'll try." He replied, making me frown. I won't ignore my insticts this time. Something's gonna happen with these two tonight, and I'm going to be there.

After that, I waited in my dorm room. I spent my time playing with Butler and gearing myself up in dark clothes so I won't be spotted easily. An hour or two passed before I finally saw Katsuki lead Izuku down the concrete path right outside the dorms.

I quickly opened my balcony door and jumped over the railing. I landed in a nearby tree and started parkouring my way over to them.

I gotta keep my distance, if Katsuki catches me, he'll freaking explode.

And of course, I was able to keep my distance without being caught. Thank you for your training mom. But, Bakugou was leading Izuku onto Ground Beta so I had to hide in a nearby building and keep an eye on them both from a window. I watched the two stop at a familiar building and sighed.
