Chapter 33

"Shouto!" I smiled brightly and jogged up to my duel haired friend. I had just stepped into the Anteroom a few seconds ago and decided to look for my classmates. I only found Todoroki, which is fine, but I was hoping that more of my class would be here too.

"(Y/N), you passed. Good job." He replied, standing up from the seat he was sitting on.

"You too, Shouto!" A small giggle left my lips as I looked around the room again. My eyes sparkled seeing four more of our classmates.

"Tsu! Shoji! Yao-Momo! Jiro! Over here!" I yelled making Jiro and Momo smile.

"Good, I'm glad to see you two passed." Momo said, walking up to both of us.

"Yeah, I didn't doubt either of you." Tsu added, smiling a bit now.

"Have you seen the others?" Jiro stepped up and asked.

"No. So far we're the only ones here. I just arrived." Todoroki responded making me nod.

"Yeah, I just got here too. I was hoping more of us have passed already." I said, looking around the room again just in case someone else just got here.

"We can't count them out." Shoji stated.

"I thought Midoriya had everyone working together?" Todoroki asked making me sigh.

"That was the plan, but someone from Ketsubutsu Academy split us up with his quirk." Jiro answered making me sigh again.

"It was that Shindo guy from earlier." I added as my ears flattened against my head. "There's only 30 spots left...I hope everyone in our class passes." I continued, making my friends nod in agreement.

Please....pass everyone....

After some time went by, I returned my balls and targets and decided to eat something before the first part of the exam ended. Some of my classmates were still out on the field and I was starting to get worried.

C'mon guys....I know you can get past this.... 

"Ah Chieko, glad to see that you passed." 

"Hm?" My cat ears twitched I turned my head to look to my right. There stood Shindo, smiling and waving at me. "Sorry about what happened earlier, my class and I were just trying to pass like you guys."

I shook my head and smiled softly. "You don't have to apologize, I understand. We all wanted to get through the first round." My hands gripped my plate softly as I picked it up and started walking away. "Hopefully in the next round we won't be fighting against each other!"

I heard Shindo follow behind me until he manged to take a spot at my side. We didn't talk for those first few seconds, just enjoyed each others company. Until Shindo decided to pull a move and pin my back against a nearby wall while he placed one of his hands beside my head. 

"W-Woah Shindo! W-What are you doing?!" I panicked for a moment, but calmed myself down once I saw the look on his face.

Is he trying to be smooth? 

"Look, Chieko. I've had my eye on you ever since I saw you in the Sports Festival. I hoped I could meet you one day and take you out for a nice meal." 

IS HE FUCKING SERIOUS?!?! 

"I-I'm flattered, but I'm in a relationship with Izuku." I said and lightly pushed his chest away to create some distance. But, Shindo held my hand with his other one and shook his head.

"I know, but maybe....you can give me a chance. I really do like and admire you, and I want to get to know you better." He said, smiling softly.

He's really persistent...
