My legs and arms trembled as I walked. Pushing branches and shrubs out of my way to get to the clearing a few feet away. I felt like I could throw up at any second, my quirks drawback slowly getting to me.
I walked by Izuku's side, his face littered with dirt and scrapes from the monsters we all fought. Everyone was exhausted from the long journey we just took. Most of us were breathing and panting heavily from the over use of our quirks.
That's when we all stepped into the clearing. The summer camp facility coming into view. Mr. Aizawa, my mom, the two members of the Wild Wild Pussycats, and a small child were standing in front of the building.
"You said it would only be like three hours."
"I guess we timed it based on how long it'd take us to get here, sorry about that." My mother said making me sigh. My stomach growled from the hunger I was feeling and I slouch over to take in a few more deep breaths.
I'm so tired, and hungry....
"Meow! Meow! Meow! Meow! I thought it'd take you kids even longer! But you did much better against my dirt monsters than I thought you would! You guys were seriously great, especially the five of you! It seems like you've had quite a bit of experience!" Ryuko exclaimed pointing at Iida, me, Izuku, Todoroki, and Bakugou. "I call dibs on these kittens! I'll groom them myself!" She yelled launching herself at the boys and dashing around them.
My cat ears stood up, understanding what she meant, and I latched onto Izuku and gave her a cold glare. My pupils turned into narrow slits as a low hissing sound emitted from my mouth. Ryuko immediately got the message and muttered something under her breath. "Hostile.....that really is Haia's daughter....."
Izuku could only stand there and shiver slightly. He never knew you could get like this, in the back of his mind, he thought it was kinda cute.
"Mandalay, has she always been like this?" Mr. Aizawa asked the burgundy cat and she turned to look up at him.
"It's gotten worse lately, she's at the age to take a mate. Looks like one of your students has already claimed hers, guess he's off limits." The three heroes watched for a moment before Izuku spoke up.
"U-Uh, speaking of peoples ages-MPH!" A gloved paw grabbed his face, silencing him from saying anything. I let go of Izuku, but stood by his side just in case.
"Choose your words carefully boy" Ryuko said, a menacing aura surrounding her as she clutched Izuku's face.
"I've just been wondering since we got here." He lifted his left hand to point behind the cat hero. "Who's that kid? What's he doing here?" He asked, his voice muffled by the glove.
"Oh this little guy, he's actually my cousins son, he just lives with us now. Don't be shy Kota, say hi to everyone. You're gonna be around them for the next week." Mandalay told the kid but all he did was glare at us. A look that reminded me of Katsuki.
Finally, Ryuko let go of Izuku and he walked towards the small boy named Kota.
"Hey there, my name's Midoriya. I'm from the U.A. high school hero course. It's nice to meet you." Izuku bent down and held out his hand so the boy could shake it. But instead, Kota put his hand back before punching Izuku where the sun don't shine. Izuku cried out in pain and held himself as he began to topple over. A gasp escaped my lips as Iida ran forward to catch the greenette.
"What a low blow!! You fiend of a child!! A punch to the scrotum is unforgivable!!" Iida yelled at the boy walking away while holding Izuku.
"The last thing I want is to hang with some wannabe heroes." Kota growled out, clearly pissed off and irritated.
