The states actually go to Kickassia and try to negotiate, but NC Bison a) says no and b) become obsessed with the fact that there's actually states who are alive . Add to the fact that one of them (it was probably Florida) reveals they're immortal and suddenly NC Bison is obsessed with taking their immortality
Every attempt to retake Molossia is surprisingly a failure. The main five keep trying to keep DC away from the fight but DC's stubborn as hell.
NC Bison didn't know taking their immortality meant killing them. So when DC died, even he was shocked.
(If I wrote this, I'd do it from the states side because I am not watching that movie again)
