Josh's POV

Dear Diary, (or journal because diary sounds too girly)

        Ever heard the phrase, "Can't take my eyes off you?"

         I never really understood it until it happened to me.

          So, I'm on this show called High School Musical: the Musical: the Series. As you may know, I play Ricky, one of the leads. There's also Larry who plays Red, Dara who plays Kourtney, and did I mention Olivia?

          She's the "I can't take my eyes off you" person that I've been talking about. On the show, she is Nini, Ricky's ex-girlfriend.

          So...this is awkward.

          Don't get me wrong, Liv's an amazing girl. She doesn't make fun of the fact that I'm a guy and I like pink. Why do gender binaries stop people from liking specific colors?!

          She's also a really, really, awesome person. She's really easy to talk to, and she doesn't say a lot about my social awkwardness. We've been co-writing a song for us to sing on the show, called Just For a Moment.

         The last few weeks have been me...staring at her.

          And staring at her.
          And staring at her.

          I just realized, I sound like a creep.
          I can't help it! She's just so gorgeous and talented and...oh my god.

          I have a crush.

         I'm going to go deal with these newfound feelings. And the anxiety of having to see her on set tomorrow.

Dear Diary,

        Welp, she has a boyfriend.

         And I'm a single guy just staring at her all the time. She must think I'm some creep or a weirdo.

         Today, Ricky and Nini almost had to kiss. I really wanted to kiss her and was about to, but the director yelled cut.

          I have no idea what to do. This crush makes me feel like my brain isn't my own like it's controlled by some...love robot.

           Whenever I see Liv, I get all nervous and my palms get sweaty. It's like my brain is short-circuiting and Ursula took away my voice.

          I'm pretty sure that everyone else is already catching onto the fact that I have a crush on Olivia.

         Well, later, diary! All of us are going to the local arcade and the In'N'Out soon.

P.S. that's the nickname Liv gave me. It sounds like a cartoon character or a teddy bear.
