welcome to 'Weird Ways of Loving You' !

a seventeen group chat book bc i love seventeen and i've read every svt group chat fic at this point and now have to make my own i guess

Don't hold me to this uwu but this will update every SUNDAY and if ya girl feelin spicy, sometimes (maybe never??) on wednesdays

~~as a fun little chaptering thing, based off the official seventeen colors, i will put either

[RQ] for rose quartz
[S] for serenity

these will indicate whether its a chat (rose quartz) or a written chapter (serenity)

this will make it easier to know what you are coming into! HOWEVER, I DO NOT RECOMMEND SKIPPING CHAPTERS USING THIS SYSTEM

i try my best make every chapter relevant somehow, whether minorly (like interactions in full group settings) or majorly (LEGITIMATE PLOT PROGRESSION OMG)

its bc i'm on that chekhov's gun sht owo, but you could miss something i probably won't explain well later

this book is hella inspired by the writing style of -vernun specifically the books 'SNAPCHAT' and 'SUPER DUPER'

they are hella funny, those books are hella funny, if you go read them (which you should!!) you'll see multiple sets of comments from me cause i reread them all the time

my writing style here, or at least the texting style, is made to emulate that style (honestly its because ive made that type my new texting personality whoops, so now its me too,)

although i mean no harm by doing this! i really look up to them and being that comedic so while my writing may reflect it, i put as much as myself into it as i could, and my storyline is different!

i don't think this book needs any trigger warnings? Although im not the right person to ask when judging stuff like that really

there's a few situations with light homophobia (more the idea being implied than anything) and some self-worth issues at a certain point but not severe.

HOWEVER PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF I SHOULD ADD A TRIGGER WARNING ON THE CHAPTER IF YOU SEE SOMETHING AND FEEL IT SHOULD HAVE ONE!!

i want to learn from these mistakes, and keep everyone comfortable (including myself, it hurts to write stuff like that 😅)
