Your eyes crack open and you are taken aback by the pure darkness that surrounds you. You push yourself up to realize you were on the floor. However you weren't flush against the floor there were a few blankets to spare yourself from the floorboards but it was poorly padded.
You stand up now realizing the reason you were on the floor. There were three small bodies splayed out on your bed. You blink as you put two and two together. You were back in the underground.
A small groan comes from one of the bodies on the bed and they sit up long h/c hair all over their head "Aniki?"
Your eyes begin to water as you realize who it is. "Yeah," You hold out a hand to her and she gently takes it, your much larger hands engulfing her own "It's me." You offer the girl a smile and she gives you a sleepy one in return.
She lets go of your hand and cups both of her small hands onto your cheeks and brings your head down to her level, a small frown tugging at her lips "You look a little different."
You glance at yourself in the cracked mirror on the dresser to realize you look exactly like your usual self. "I don't under-"
"Why're you crying?"
At her words you pause, "Am I?" You reach up to realize a few years have escaped and you brush them away. "My bad, i just- i haven't seen you in a long time s'all."
She furrows her brows "You saw me before you left last night." She then smacks your nose before pushing you away from her "Which reminds me! Where were you? Enzo Jade and I were waiting on you all night!"
"Ah, my bad." The girl hops off of the bed and she leads you out of the room and towards the kitchen, you making sure to close the door behind her.
"We were real worried y'know." She tuts at you, as if she were the older one.
An amused grin comes over your face. "M' sorry about that Jas. I'll make sure to tell you the next time i'm out for longer than expected."
She nods, "Good."
You watch as your younger sister makes her way around the kitchen taking out the small bits of food scraps you all have and muttering to herself as she stares at it.
"Need some help?"
You waves you off "No."
"Is he home yet?" Your head snaps towards the entrance of the kitchen to see an identical orange eyed girl standing there her h/c hair cut short into a ruffled bob next to her is a timid looking Enzo, him holding her hand tightly as he observes the scene before him. Spotting you his eyes begin to water and his lips tremble as he drops Jade's hand and dashes towards you.
