You manage to land on a rooftop where Hange and Mikasa are the female titan running off "What happened?"

"We didn't set enough traps and Annie got away."

"Damn it."

You take off going after Annie with your gear, maybe you'll get a few good slashes in, You glance at the sword in your hand before maneuvering over Annie's shoulder and letting yourself fall along her front getting a few slashes down her stomach in, "For the fallen Levi squad!"

You maneuver back up and onto a rooftop as Mikasa tries down Annies stomach too although Annie's more aware this time and doesn't let Mikasa land a hit and kicks her leg out leading to Mikasa stumbling over herself to avoid it, rolling onto the paved streets of Sina, loosing her gear in the process.

Finally lighting strikes the sky and your purse your lips before a relived breath leaves you. "So now Eren wants to take things seriously." Hange, Armin, and Jean land next to you.

"Well I daresay it looks like our boy's in control of himself this time." Hange remarks.

"Yeah," Armin nods "Still though... there's no guarantee this will turn out any differently than their last meeting."

"Come on, he wouldn't have transformed unless he knew he could take her this time... He's got this, okay?"

Armin turns his attention away from the lumbering titans and towards Jean "I don't doubt that but determination alone isn't enough to win a fight. You of all people should know that." Armin looks away from Jean and scans the streets of Sina.

You purse your lips as your gaze lands on a running titan Eren's back "Unfortunately it'll take more than raw determination to beat Annie. A lot more."

Two of Hange's soldiers land next to the four of you "Damnit! She's heading for level ground!"

"So much for our gear." The other tsk. Although he composes himself as he looks to Hange "What now?"

"Split into two teams and go around!" Recognizing Hange's words, you all depart to follow her orders.

In doing so you come upon two MP soldiers standing on a rooftop "We didn't sign up for this... they didn't say they're' d be titans fighting in the streets." Sign up... new recruits?

"No kidding." The male responds "This is crazy."

You smirk to yourself as you pass them by, Those MP bastards will always be useless. New recruits or not.

Once you finally go around you land on a roof next to Jean and not too far down the roof was Armin. The three of you watch as the two titan shifters trade blows. Annie had Eren down but Eren seemed to have a fire lit under his ass when he got back up. Literally, some parts of the guy were on fire. All you could do was watch.

"Eren!" Mikasa lands next to all of you crowded on the roof, somewhere during the battle Hange and some others had come to land on the roof as well. "What is he--? Help him!" Mikasa steps forward, ready to go after Eren.

"No!" Hange grasp Mikasa's wrist to keep her from running off. "With the state he's in, it's probably best that we keep our distance.

As Eren continues his attack, Annie screams. For know, Eren has the upper hand. Although kicking him into a nearby building Annie quickly regains it.

Annie runs away towards the wall. Your body reacts faster than your mind faintly you hear Jean and Hange remark about Annie heading up the wall and trying to escape but your already heading towards the traitor. As your hook latches to the wall Eren grasp onto one of her legs although he is kicked off, but as he falls he takes one of Annie's legs with him.

Seeing Annie attempt to crawl up the wall you launch into action and with a single swoop you cut off fiver of her fingers leaving her hanging from the wall with one hand. You return and do the same with her other hand. As she falls you land on her nose and stare down into her petrified eyes "It's over, Annie." Your eyes harden into a glare "Now fall." Your ODM gear still lodged into the wall stops you from joining Annie in her decent and you don't bat an eye as Eren immediately jumps onto her and starts ripping her apart.

Eren goes a little to far, some part of him going feral but he hesitates once he rips off her nape and Annie is exposed to all of you because once again, Annie is crying.

A bright white light comes over your vision and wind starts to violently blow around you all. Your eyes widen as Eren begins to merge with Annie, you curse as you maneuver onto Eren with your gear but Levi is already there and hacking his way to Eren with no problem.

"It's not a good idea to eat our key evidence... you idiot." And even though you were about to cut Eren out yourself, you once again couldn't be more thankful for Levi.

Once the dust had cleared and Eren had been pulled from his titan form you stood next to Levi ad Hange and observed everyone. Annie had turned into a crystal and nothing seemed to be working to get her out and Eren was just starting to wake up but Jean was just beating on Annie's shell will his sword despite it breaking long ago.

You walk up to jean and rest a hand on his shoulder "Jean, stop. What you're doing is useless, we can't break through this stupid thing."

He slams the broken sword against it once more "Damn it! All the shit we've been through and this is what we get?" Jean glares holes at the crystal "Annie! Wake up!" She does not respond nor does she stir, C'mon, face the music! You owe us!" You only watch as Jean yells at the crystal incasing Annie "Don't be a coward! I know you can hear me!" As Jean goes to raise his hand for another strike you grab hold of his wrist.

"That's enough, Jean. It's over." Jean looks to you then at the broken sword in his hand then back to you before slowly lowering his hand, staring at the crystal in defeat.

Hange walks up next to the two of you "Someone get me a wire net! This thing belongs deep underground!"

You step back away from Jean and look around at the carnage. You let out a heavy sigh, well this was a complete bust. Your gaze goes to the wall and you immediately pause, jaw dropping.

"Captain Levi! Section Commander Hange!" You turn around in a panic trying to locate either one of them and once you do you can't help the frantic words that spill from your lips "There's a titan in the wall!"
