Aaliyah was extremely excited to head to Platform 9 3/4 on the First of September. And this time she gets to bring Theo and Draco with her. To Aaliyah, its like a dream come true.
She still hasnt spoken to her father since the funeral but he gave Theo some galleons to give to her and he even signed her permission form for Hogsmead. This means that she will get to visit the villiage for the first time this year with her friends.
She got on the platform and bid goodbye to Narcissa who brought them to the train. She had a very tearful goodbye with Draco, even though he tried to keep a straight face, Aaliyah definitely knew he would miss her terribly.
She decided to stay with Theo and Draco on the train since they really didnt know anyone else. Well except Greg and Vincent who showed up not too long after they left the station. Aaliyah doesn't really like them much, but they are friends with the boys so she does kind of tollerate their presence.
While the boys talked about how they would all definately end up in Slytherin Aaliyah turned her attention back to her book. Theo and Draco would definately be Slytherins and it hurt Aaliyah a little bit to know she wouldn't see them as much as she would have like to.
When we got to Hogwarts the boys had to leave her and go on the boats with Hagrid. She hugged the both of them goodbye and left to find her friends.
She found them on their way to the carriages. But the carriages were being pulled by something this year. Black winged horses. They were one of the most beautiful things Aaliyah had ever seen. But she wanted to know why the carriages werent pulling themselves like always. She didn't pay much attention to the question in her mind because she got wrapped up into a hug by Riviera, followed by Lee, Fred and George. David wasnt here yet but she was sure he would meet them in the school.
When we got into the school and sat at the Gryffindor table in the great hall the sorting started. A lot of students were being sorted that year. Along with the twins youngest brother Ronald.
"Malfoy, Draco" 'SLYTHERIN'
"Nott, Theodore" 'SLYTHERIN'
After a few more people, "Potter, Harry" was called.
"Harry Potter, the Harry Potter?" Aaliyah asked Fred who nodded at her.
"Oh yeah, we met him on the train, didn't I tell you that princess?" He said casually and Aaliyahs jaw dropped, but her face also showed a small bit of sadness for him not telling her that.
"No, you didnt" she huffed and Fred chuckled at her slightly wrapping his arm around her and pulling her into his side.
"Sorry princess, I know I should have said-"
"GRYFFINDOR" the sorting hat shouted.
The whole table erupted into cheers and applause. With the twins and Lee of course being the loudest of all.
Finally when "Zabini, Blaise" was sorted into Slytherin the food appeared. Aaliyah was glad because she hadn't eaten since breakfast at the Manor that morning.
After the feast the group of their years went up to the Gryffindor tower and headed up to our rooms. Aaliyah was extremely happy when she saw that she was only sharing a room with Riviera that year. Aparently third years only have to share dorms with one other person. She loved the thought even though she knew she would definately miss Katie, Alicia and Angelina this year.

When Riviera and Aaliyah got up to their room and finished packing Aaliyah sat on her bed and huffed, thoroughly exhausted.
