Fifth year. OWL year.

Thats going to be something for sure.

Aaliyah rode on the train with my own friends this year. She didnt really like the stares that Flint and Warrington were giving me her on the platform when she stood with Adrian. They kind of freak her out.

A lot of Slyterins do really, well except Draco and Theodore for obvious reasons. Adrian because he is her boyfriend. And Blaise and Pansy. Pansy annoys Draco a lot but shes actually a really nice girl when you get to know her. And Blaise is really a sweetheart.

"Liyah, you there?" Lee asked the very zoned out girl as they sat in the compartment.

"Noodles, stop poking me in my side. Yes Im here. Whats up?" She asked him rubbing her side where he had been elbowing the last few seconds to pull her out of her daze.

"Want a game of Exploding Snap?" He offered shuffling the deck in front of Aaliyah in a way that made her giggle slightly. If there is one thing Lee knows how to do well, its cheer people up.

"Sure!" Aaliyah replied with a smile, turning around to Lee and started to play the game. They had played a few rounds before the compartment door opened up. Fred walked in with some fifth year Ravenclaw that Aaliyah knew only from her divination class.

"Amelia Owens" she introduced herself, shaking everyone's hand in the compartment, before sitting herself on Freds lap.

Fred looked at Aaliyah and frowned when he realised that she was there. He wasnt expecting her to be there. She hasnt rode in the compartment to school with them since Theodore and Draco started school. And with her being with Pucey he just assumed that she would be riding to school with him. Clearly he was wrong.

The rest of the train ride went by rather uneventfully. Aaliyah played more Exploding Snap with Lee and Riviera. Angelina even managed to get the whole group, now including Amelia, to all play a game of Monopoly. The teams were Angelina and Alicia, Lee and George (they had finally told everyone about their relationship, and everyone couldn't be happier for them), Fred and Amelia, Riviera and David, and lastly Aaliyah and Katie. The two ended up on a team because both of their boyfriends were riding with their own friends on the train.

The only eventful thing that happened was that the train stopped earlier than usual. Aparently the dementors were allowed to check the train to see if Sirius Black was on it. Gladly he wasnt and they just continued towards the school as normal.

When the train came to a stop outside Hogwarts, Aaliyah said goodbye to her friends telling them that she was going to ride with Adrian and Draco in the carriages on the way up and that she would see them at dinner.

When Aaliyah met Draco he was in histerics laughing with his friends. "Hey Dray, whats so funny?" Aaliyah asked but Draco just looked at her and tried to stop laughing, he was unsuccessful. "Potter, he fainted!" Draco managed to get out through all of his laughing and Aaliyah slapped her hand to her mouth.

"Oh Godric, Draco thats not funny, what is hes not okay?" Aaliyah asked, worry evident in her voice as she made a mental note to check up on Harry at dinner.

"He'll be fine babe, dont worry about it." Adrian said as he took one of her hands in his and started walking towards the school. Effectively cutting off her conversation with Draco. "Now lets get going yeah? The carriages have already started leaving." He said placing a small kiss on the top of her head.

Aaliyah gave him a disapproving look before heading into the carriage with him and his friends.

Christmas came to the castle fairly fast. Aaliyah got a lot of amazing presents this year.
