Fool Me Once (Book One) - Fred Weasley

Get Fred

AN. Hey guys. Just letting you know that for the next week or so I will only be able to update the story once a day. I'm really busy with finishing up college and working atm. I'm so sorry for anyone who reads this and really likes the twice daily updates.

'Fuck' I muttered as I felt another pain and grabbed my stomach. I stood up and Lee followed my movements placing his hand on my back and looked at me worried. I looked at him and my face said it all, the babies were coming and they were coming now. I gasped again as I felt another contraction, causing Lee to walk me towards the door.

Umbridge walked over to the two of us as we made out way to the door. 'Where do you think you are going?' she asked as she stood in front of us. 'Hospital Wing' Lee said as he tried to push past her. 'Liyahs babies' he said and she looked at him.

'Thats fine. Miss Nott you are excused and Mr Jordan please find your way back to your seat, this class isnt over yet.' she told him as she motioned back towards his seat. 

'Professor, she cant walk there on her own. Its on the other side of the school' he said as he looked at her, I couldnt tell if he was angry at her for not letting him leave or worried about me having to walk there on my own. 

'I think Miss Nott-'

'Will all due respect Professor' I spat through gritted teeth. 'My name is Weasley, and I feel that you should get used to it. And Lee here has to walk me to the Hospital Wing, because at the moment, I am unable to- Ah' I screamed again, as another contraction hit causing me to lean back into Lee. 

'This is unacceptable behaviour. You should learn not to speak back to professors Miss Nott' she said as she stood in front of the two of us. 

'Whats unacceptable, Professor, is you not letting me out of this classroom. I need to get to the Hospirtal Wing, like now' I said as I pushed past her. 

'Professor you have to let her leave' Katie said as she too stood up, followed by Angelina, Alicia and Riviera. 

'Professor-' Angelina started but Umbridge cut her off. 

'Back in your seats children. Or its detention for all of you. Including you Mr Jordan if you-'

'Thats fine' Lee said as he opened the door. 'Let me know when my detention is wont you Professor' he told her as he smiled and walked out of the class room with me. 

'You didnt have to- ah' I said as we started walking, I had to stand for a minute and lean against the wall for support so as to not fall over. 

'Liyah I did. You need help getting there and I dont think Freddie would like it too much if I abandoned you and his Mini Muffins in the middle of a hallway. Come on' he said as he put his arm around my back and took my hand closest to him. 

After walking for about twenty minutes. We would have been there in ten if I didnt have to keep stopping every few feet we made it to the Hospital Wing. 

'Madame Pomfrey' Lee called as we made it to the Hospital Wing. 'Madame Pomfrey are you-'

'Im here Mr Jordan. Whats- Oh Miss Weasley. The babies?' she questioned but I didnt get to answer because at that moment I was hit with another contraction. 

'Quickly now. Mr Jordan just help her up onto this bed. Miss Weasley, anyone else I can get for you right now?' she asked and I nodded. 'Get Fred' I said as I lay down on the bed and she handed me a tonic. 

'For the contractions dear' she said as she hurried off to write a letter to St. Mungos. 

'Liyah. Anything I can do?' Lee asked. He looked panicked and worried. 'Im fine Lee' I told him as I took his hand in mine. 'Thank you' I said and he nodded. 

'Do you want anyone else? George? Ginny?' he asked and I nodded again. 'Get them, please if its okay.' I told him. 'Can I leave you. I can-'

'Liyah' I heard someone call as they came into the Hospital Wing. 'Liyah are you-'

'Over here Tori' I called. 'How are you here?' I questioned and she looked at me. 'I had a class off. I was in the library but I thought I heard you and Lee walking down the hallway. Are the babies coming?' she asked and I nodded. 

I didnt feel the contractions as bad now. Im assuming thats what the tonic Poppy gave me was for. And thank Merlin for it because them contractions were horrible. They felt like I was being split in two. And not in a good way. 

'Liyah. Im going to go and get George and Ginny alright. Ill be back quickly. Will you be okay with Astoria for a minute?' Lee asked as he took my hand back in his. 

'Ill be fine noodles. And dont worry. Tori is great company' I said as I smiled weakly and Lee got up from his seat. 'Dont let anything happen to her' he told Astoria as he left. 

'Protective of you that one' she said with a small giggle, now taking the seat that Lee had vacated just a minute ago. 

'I think Fred gave them orders before he left' I muttered now sitting up more comfortably in the bed. 

'I thought you still had a week?' she questioned as she took my hand in hers. 'I do really, but you know with twins. Most of the time they end up coming out early' I told her and she nodded. 'See Fred and George. Molly told me that they were two weeks early, but honestly, I just think they really wanted to be born on April Fools day. Im telling you, they planned it' I said and she laughed. 

'Seems like something they would do anyway' she said and I nodded at her. 'Okay Miss Weasley' Madame Pomfrey started as she walked in. 'I have wrote to St. Mungos and Fred should be here soon' she told me as she walked over.

'Thanks Poppy' I said as she handed my a hospital gown to change into. 'Miss Greengrass, you can help her change if she needs it. Ill be in the back room, I just have to get some stuff ready' she said as she went into the room off to the right.  

'You need me to help?' she asked me as I carefully got down off the bed. I dont think so its just-'

'Liyah. Im not sure if this is the time, but did you just wet yourself?' she asked me. Her face honestly was priceless, it was like a mixture between fear and amusement.

'No Tori' I told her as I pulled off my school skirt and leggings. 'I think my water broke' 

'Your water broke' I heard Ginny ask from behind me. 'Yeah Gin I think so- ah' I cut myself off as another contraction swept my body. 

'Its okay. George, Lee wait there for a minute. We are going to help her change' Ginny ordered the two boys who stayed outside the curtains. 

After five minutes she called them in and George helped me up onto the bed. 'How are you feeling?' I asked him and he looked at me in confusion. 'Liyah, what do you mean how am I doing. I should be asking how are you doing, your the one thats in labour' he told me and I laughed at him a small bit. 

'Im asking because you had food poisoning. Tori, will you tell Poppy my water broke please. I think that means the twins are nearly -fuck'. I said and she nodded. 

After Poppy came in and checked my over she asked everyone else to leave. I managed to get her to allow George and Ginny to stay, I really wanted Lee there too, after all he was the one who got detention in order to bring me here, but he convinced me that I should have George and Ginny there, especially seeing as Fred wasnt here yet. 

A few hours passed of me drifting in and out of sleep and waking up to painful contractions. Fred still wasnt here and I was getting worried. He really wanted to be here when the babies were born and now he is no where to be seen. 

'Have you heard anything from Fred yet?' I asked Poppy, at about 4am as she came and told me that I should be ready to start pushing in the next few minutes. 

'No my dear. He should be here by now. I sent that letter twelve hours ago.' she said and a small tear slid down my cheek which George noticed and stood up to wipe off for me. 

'Liyah. He will be here. You know he wouldnt miss this' he told me as he looked over at Ginny who was asleep in the other seat. 

'If you want to bring her -fuck' I cried and grabbed his hand harder. 'Sorry. If you want to- fucking hell' I cried and woke Ginny. 

Poppy came over and told me that I had to start pushing now, the babies were ready.
