Fred managed to be allowed to stay with Aaliyah at the Leaky Cauldron for a few days. He had shown Mrs Weasley the letter and explained to her what the nightmares were about. Aaliyah was annoyed with him for doing that, he didnt have a right to tell Mrs Weasley after all. But then she decided that if that's what he had to do in order to be able to see her then she was happy enough with that. Today is Saturday and Fred is staying with her until Tuesday. Draco is then staying from Wednesday until Friday and then Aaliyah is on her own for the weekend until she go to the Burrow on Monday.
Fred and Aaliyah spent a lot of time in her room mostly just talking. She was waiting for her OWL results and it had her really stressed out. Aaliyah couldn't tell Fred this though because she knew he would only make fun of her for stressing. She told him all about the letter from her father, and even that she wrote to him after she received it. When Fred read the letter he apologised, he thought it was his fault that Aaliyah doesn't have a relationship with her father. It isn't but he still tried to take all the blame.
Tuesday came far too quickly for Aaliyah's liking. She really wanted her time with Fred to last longer but she reminded herself that she get to see him again in only six days. She kissed him goodbye and he walked into the fireplace in the pub, shouting "The Burrow" as he threw the floo powder down. Just before the flames took him, he looked at Aaliyah and mouthed "I love you."
That night was very lonely. Aaliyah had gotten accustomed to Fred's body keeping her warm in bed and the covers seemed too cold and the bed seemed to empty without him there. When she woke up the following morning she headed down for breakfast in the pub. When she went over to my regular table, and ordered her eggs, she saw Draco walking in.
Aaliyah waved at him and shouted for him. When he saw her, he quickly enveloped her in a hug before questioning how her summer has been. Draco told Aaliyah that he had started dating Astoria Greengrass. She seemed really nice and he seemed to really like her, Aaliyah was glad about this because she just want him to be happy.
The pair spent most of their days talking about their relationships and discussing their partners. Draco had finally grown to like Fred after they talked the day of Aaliyah's birthday. Aaliyah thanked Draco for her birthday present, which was a mirror that she could talk into whenever she was in trouble or even lonely and Draco had the other one and would talk back. Aaliyah loved it so much, it was kind of like a wizarding walkie talkie. They tried not to use it too much when Draco was in the manor because they knew that Lucius would be suspicious of him talking to himself all the time and they knew that he still didnt like Aaliyah so it was a bad idea for Draco to even bring up Aaliyah's name at home, except to Narcissa of course.
They also spent a lot of the time talking about Theodore. Draco filled her in on how he was doing. She told Draco that she wrote to him and Draco told her that he would talk to Theodore the next time he sees him. Draco seemed genuinely angry that Aaliyah had wrote to Theodore and he hadn't bothered to write back. Friday came all too soon and again Aaliyah was on her own. However, this time she would be on her own until Monday and would then she would get to spend the rest of her summer holidays, the last month, at the Burrow.
Aaliyah's time at the Burrow went all too fast. She spent most of it with Fred, of course, but also a lot with Ginny and Hermione. It's like the three girls had formed out own clique against all the boys that inhabited the place. Aaliyah was sure that Fred and George were a little jealous of her new found friendships but they would have to learn because one day the three of them girls will be sisters, when ever Ronald and Hermione would like to take their heads out of their asses and admit their feelings, that is.
Aaliyah was awoken the following morning by Ginny jumping up and down and shaking her. "Hurry up Liyah, wake up, its the Quiddich World cup. Come ooooooooon." Ginny said now dragging Aaliyah by the arm trying to pull her up off her mattress on the floor. How has this girl so much energy in the morning? Even Fred and George, who are the most energetic people Aaliyah has ever met, do not have this much energy in the mornings. "Okay Gin I'm awake. I'm up, okay?" Aaliyah said yawning, but also with a slight chuckle. She couldn't help but love the little girl's excitement.
