TW. MENTIONS OF BLOOD, ALCOHOL AND DRUG ADDICTION, DEATH, MISCARRIAGE AND GRIEF. IM SO SORRY IF THIS TRIGGERS ANYONE. I KNOW THAT IT IS A DIFFICULT TOPIC, BUT IT IS KIND OF AN ESSENTIAL ELEMENT OF MY STORY. AS ALWAYS MY MESSAGES ARE OPEN FOR ANYONE WHO NEEDS TO TALK.

Fred was running through the school hallways as if his life depended on it. No, he wouldnt run this fast for his own life. He was running this fast as if Aaliyahs life depended on it. And maybe it did. He didn't know. All he knew was he needed to get Poppy, and he needed to get her fast.

Fred didnt know what was happening, but he did know two things. Aaliyah was really unwell right now, and that they had probably lost the baby. Fred started to cry the closer he got to the hospital wing. He didnt even care how bad he looked right now. Running topless through the school, barefoot in blood soaked pyjama pants carrying his bleeding girlfriend through the halls. He honestly didnt care. The only thing Fred cared about at that moment was making sure that Aaliyah was okay.

Fred was even ignoring the little voice in the back of his head that was telling him that a few shots of firewhiskey would make this all feel better. He ignored the voice, because for once he knew it was wrong. If fred ever let anything happen to his Aaliyah, no amount of firewhiskey or drugs would ever make him feel okay again. The wouldnt even help him to feel numb.

Finally after running for what felt like an eternity to him, fred made it to the hospital wing. He gently placed Aaliyah down on a bed before running to the Nurses Office where he knew that Poppy slept. Fred started banging on the door and shouting as loudly as he possibly could. 'POPPY, POPPY PLEASE WAKE UP. ITS AALIYAH. POPPY PLEASE. I THINK ITS THE BABY. SHES BLEEDING POPP-'

The door was suddenly swung open and a very distraught looking Poppy emerged. 'Did you bring her here or did you leave her in the dorm?' she questioned. 'I brought her here with me. Shes over there' fred said panting and gesturing to the bed where aaliyah was lying.

Poppy went over to Aaliyah and started stroking her hair and muttering spells that Fred didnt know. He didnt know what to do with him self so he just sunk into the chair beside aaliyahs bed and watched praying to Merlin that his girl would be okay. 'Oh my poor poor little petal' she was muttering, taking a wash basin and cloth and wiping down Aaliyahs legs and stomach where the blood was.

'You done the right thing bringing her here Fred' Poppy told Fred but he only nodded. The voice in his head was getting louder again. 'Fred, theres a shower through there. You go in and clean yourself up. Ill stay here with Aaliyah until you get back okay?' Fred nodded reluctantly, not wanting to leave Aaliyah, but when Poppy looked at him and nodded reassuringly, he got out of the chair and walked to where she had pointed.

Fred couldnt do anything except stand under the hot water and cry. He stayed in that shower for what felt like hours and just cried. Fred finally got out of the shower once he realised that the water had turned cold. For how long it had been cold he couldnt tell, but he knew that it had been a while as my skin was covered in goosebumps.

When Fred got dressed in spare pyjamas that Poppy kept in a closet he ran back out to see Aaliyah still lying in the bed, although she looked a lot more peaceful and was now wearing a blue nightdress. Poppy was sitting beside her, holding her hand and whispering in her ear.

Fred walked over and stood behind Poppy placing his hand absentmindedly on the bottom of Aaliyahs stomach. 'How is she Poppy?' Fred asked the healer, even though he already knew the answer. 'She is fine Fred, she is perfectly healthy now. You get her here just in time. The baby however-'
