4. Summer 1991

TW. MENTIONS OF SUICIDE AND SELF HARM

At the end of the year Aaliyah had a tearful goodbye with all of her friends. Stating that she would miss them all so much over the next two months. Although keeping good on her promise to Ginny and Ronald and told Fred and George that she would visit them at the end of the month. The twins were looking forward to this, one more than the other obviously.

Aaliyah got home not too long after leaving the train station. Narcissa and Draco came to the station to collect her. She found it a bit odd but didn't really think much of it. She just assumed that her mothrt was still at work.

Aaliyah still havent spoken to dad since the divorce, but its his fault, he has made no effort to contact her at all. It hurts her because it makes her feel like her father wants nothing to do with her. Especially seeing as he talks to Theodore, that hurts because it makes her feel like shee not wanted. When the three of them got home Aaliyah was talking to Draco in the living room while Narcissa went up to the bathroom upstairs.

Suddenly Draco and Aaliyah heard the most horrible scream from upstairs. Immediately Aaliyah starts to run up the stairs with Draco not far behind me.

"Draco, Aaliyah, no. Draco bring her back downstairs now."

Draco grabbed her arm and tried to pull me away from the door that she was approaching, but he couldn't, he wasnt strong enough to pull her, he was still only eleven after all.

What Aaliyah saw in the bathroom made her heart shatter, her mothee. Her beautiful mother, lying on the bathroom floor in a pool of her own blood. Her hair soaking, her clothes ruined. But she looked so beautiful. She looked at peace for the first time that Aaliyah thinks she has ever seen. But she was all alone, Aaliyah was now all alone. Her heart broke. And Draco was finally able to move her away from the doorway. He was crying aswell. But Aaliyah couldnt even breath.

Draco sat Aaliyah  down on the bed and sat beside her. They just held each other and cried. Aaliyah cried like she has never cried before. She cried until her loud sobs turned into dry gasps for air and she fell asleep on the bed behind me. With Draco's hand still in hers.

The day of her mothers funeral this would be the day she would see her mother for the last time in her entire life. Aaliyah is only thirteen, poor Theodore is only eleven, she never even got to see him go to Hogwarts.

This day hurt more than any other day that Aaliyah  has ever experienced in her life. It was so hard, but she was so greatful for everyone that she had with her. Draco, Theodore, Narcissa, her father. Even Fred, George, Lee, Angelina and Riviera made an appearence. David couldn't because he was visiting family back in Ireland and couldn't make it back on time.

Narcissa spoke at the funeral and what she said almost broke Aaliyahs heart even more. She told stories about growing up with her mother, going to school, crazy days and crazy nights they had, and even how they loved being pregnant at the same time. Her father spoke at the funeral too. He started to talk about how Belle was the love of his life and how he was heartbroken that he lost her so young. This angered Aaliyah some, how could he get up and tell people that she was the love of his life and then go and cheat on her?

Next it was Aaliyahs turn to speak. "My mother was the best woman that I knew. She taught me everything I know about life, but I wish there was so much more she could teach me. I know there are so many things that she will miss out on, but I know that it was her time. I'm heartbroken that she had to leave me and that she doesnt get to see me and Theo grow up, and it shatters my heart that she wont be there for so many mile stones. But as I said she is the best person I could have had in my life. She really knew how to light up a room, and her laugh could make even the saddest person laugh, her smile was contageous and she was so so so nice. I honestly have never met, and probably will never meet a nicer person. I just hope that she will be proud of me and the future that I will make for myself."
