Danica's POV
I groan as I sit up from my bed, my head pounding from the night before. Goosebumps sprout across my body as the cool morning air nips at my skin....my bare skin. I rub my eyes before looking at the side of my bed, my eyes widening as I see a naked George laying beside me. The blanket covering his waist. "Oh shit," I mutter. I watch as he stirs awake, his tired eyes meeting mine.
"Morning," He smiles, but winces as he tries to sit up.
"Morning," I smile awkwardly. "Well, last night must've went, uh, well,"
"Yeah," He chuckles lightly. I run my hand over my currently knotted hair before grabbing my shirt that laid lazily beside my bed. I slip it on before standing up, the long shirt going to my thighs. I turn back around to George.
"I'm gonna go shower," I say simply. I grab my towel and walk down to the bathroom. I take off my shirt and step into the shower, turning the water up quite a bit. I close my eyes as the water beats down on my face. I hear the door open. "I'm in the shower,"
"I know," I hear George's voice. I open the shower door slightly to see a shirtless George.
"What are you doing?" I ask with furrowed brows.
"Well, if it's uh, okay with you, I was gonna join you," He smiles lightly. And there are those familiar butterflies.
I sigh. "Sure George," I step back into the water, turning around. I hear the door open and close, signaling George has entered the shower. There's silence until he wraps his arms around my waist and puts his head on my shoulder. We just stand like that for a bit, the water beating down on us. Suddenly, I feel him planting small kisses on my shoulder and head up my neck. "George, we have to get to work," I whisper, the ghost of a smile on my lips, my eyes closed.
"I know," He mumbles against the skin behind my ear. He places one more kiss behind my ear before we both actually soap up and rinse off. We step out of the shower and I quickly brush out my hair while it's wet before putting my hair towel on my head. I crack open the door and look to make sure no ones there before George and I quickly run to my room. I close the door and we both quickly get dressed. I throw on a hoodie and track pants. I lend George one of my large black t-shirts and my biggest pair of grey track pants which surprisingly fit him perfectly.
"I can drive you to your apartment to get your pager and stuff,"
"I'll just call Lexie," He shrugs before picking up his phone to call his roomate. I slip on my beat up black nikes. I take my towel off my head and let my curly hair fall into place. I quickly add some curling gel and leave in conditioner before running my fingers through it a couple times. I apply some mascara and my clear lip gloss. I grab my glasses, to lazy to put in my contacts this morning. "You look good with glasses," I turn to see George.
"I hate glasses, they're such a hassle," I mutter.
"Well, you make them look great," He walks over and places a kiss on my forehead.
"What is this?" I ask honestly. "I don't usually like to label things but you confuse the hell out of me George, I'm not gonna lie,"
"This is whatever you want it to be. I hope it can lead up to a proper relationship where I'm fully committed to you," He rests his forehead against mine. "I am so sorry for what I put you through Dani. I never meant to hurt you. I hope you can forgive me and we can start over together,"
I sigh heavily. "George you may not have meant to hurt me but you did. You hurt me worse than I've ever been hurt. I fell for you and you didn't catch me," I chuckle sadly. "You have to earn back my love, you have to earn me back," I stand on my tip toes and kiss his cheek. "I think it's be best if you leave,"
