I follow behind the ambulance, on my motorcycle. Focusing on the sound of sirens, rather than the thoughts running through my head. I park at the side of the building as the ambulance I was following and another pulls up. I quickly hop off, placing my helmet down beside my bike before running over. The ambulance doors on both vehicles open and they pull out the gurneys. I quirk my eyebrows at the sight of Jackson getting out of the vehicle as well. "Relative?" He asks.
"Relative. You,"
"Same," I focus back on my father as they wheel both Jackson's relative and mine in.
"Dani, I'm---"
"Dad, Liam said you passed out in the living room and hit your head. This isn't some minuscule thing," I scold as I cut him off from his reasoning.
They place him on a bed next to Jackson's relative, handing me his chart. I look at Jackson. "Trade?" I chuckle.
"Trade," He smiles as we switch charts.
"Hi sir, I'm Doctor Millers," I introduce as I read his chart. I press my hands on his abdomen lightly. "Don't worry. I'm a friend of Doctor Avery. You're in good hands,"
"She's the best," Jackson adds.
"Um you have midepigastric tenderness and guarding. It could be ascending colengitis but you only have one of symptoms of Charcot's triad," I explain, my brain racking for answers, occasionally looking over at my dad. "Cristina leave him be. That patient you're tryna steal is my dad," I warn before turning back to Jackson's relative.
"My grandson is right, you are good," He smiles. I smile back with a nod.
"Thank you sir. Can I get a name, the chart doesn't seem to have one on here," I ask as I take out my pen.
"Harper. Harper Avery," He answers nonchilantly. My eyes widen as I write down the name.
"It's a pleasure to meet you Doctor Harper Avery," I shake his hand and try to supress the shit eating grin.
"You're the Robert Millers?" I look up and see Cristina looking at me with wide eyes and I can't help but cringe. Fuck.
"Rob, I knew you're voice sounded familiar," Doctor Avery states turning slightly.
"Harper! Good to see you old friend," My dad chuckles.
"Harper, as in Harper Avery!?" Cristina asks, even more confused. Ooh double fuck.

Danica POV
"Is it me or are those two women terribly annoying," I let out a snort at Harper's comment, covering my mouth to stop the giggle. I place my other hand on my dad's forehead to make sure he's okay.
"My apologies Doctor Avery and Millers, we're working on getting you both up to your own rooms as soon as possible,"
"Nonsense, you're busy. You don't mind sharing do ya Harper?" My dad asks politely.
