I stare at George as he looks back at me, twirling the engagement ring between his fingers. "George, are you sure you want to marry me?" I ask, my voice barely a whisper.
"Of course I'm sure. I can't see myself with anyone else Dani. You're the one for me," He says simply like it's the most obvious thing ever. "I love you more than I've ever loved anyone,"
A smile appears on my lips before I lean over and kiss him. "Then yes George O'Malley. I will marry you," The biggest smile appears on his face as he slips the ring on my finger. It's gorgeous. It's not some colossal diamond it's a simple ring with a small diamond and a golden band.

"I know it's not much b--"
"It's perfect," I whisper, cutting off his ramble of doubts. The sound of beeping catches my attention. I lean over the edge of the bed and see my pager. "Bailey's paging me, I gotta go,"
I lean over and press a kiss to his lips before standing up and getting redressed. I grab my pager before running out of the on call room. I find Bailey in the clinic. "Bailey you paged,"
"I heard about the little stunt you pulled today and the chief told me to talk to you about it,"
"Bailey I kn--"
"Let me finish Millers," She sighs before continuing. "What you did was unprofessional and immature. We do not start fist fights in this establishment. Do not let it happen again, understand?" I nod. "Now that the repramanding is over," She pauses and looks around before whispering. "Did you get him good?"
I laugh lightly. "Yes I did,"
"Good," I laugh lightly brushing a strand of my curly hair behind my ear. Her eyes widen as she sees my hand. She grabs my left hand and looks at the ring. "Did O'Malley--" I nod answering her question. "Oh Dani, I'm so happy for you," She pulls me into a hug. I hug her back. "Now go get back to work," I nod before walking away. "Dani,"
I turn around. "Your mom was wrong about you,"
"Thank you Bailey," She smiles before shooing me off. I head down to the main waiting area to pick up a new patient file.
"Hey Dani," I turn to see Izzie, Alex, Meredith, and Cristina.
"Hey,"
"How are you feeling?" Meredith asks.
"Better," I admit as I flip through the pages of my new file.
"I saw your brother. Jesus you did a number on him," Alex laughs. I chuckle as well.
"You guys don't have to worry about e you know. I'm fine,"
"We just want you to know we're here for you," Meredith reassures.
"Thank you but I'm good. I promise,"
"That's good enough for me," Cristina laughs.
"Well," I grab the case file before turning to the others. "I have a new patient to go check on,"
