As we were on the way to the cafeteria, I clinged onto Seungkwan. Of course, a lot of people have been glancing and whispering. I am getting scared because of the attention. It sucks having anxiety,,,,

"Sophia, is everything alright ?? Are you still scared ?"
asked Hansol in a worried tone

I nodded, still clinging onto Seungkwan's arm, refusing to look up.

"What are you guys looking at ?? You're making her uncomfortable !"
Seungkwan scolded the people around us.

I was taken aback by that

"Seungkwan you didn't have to do that !"
I whispered loud enough for him to hear

"This girl literally have no shame ugh. Just because she's popular with boys and one of the top students, that doesn't mean she have any rights to hang out with them"
said by a girl who walked past us. She was whispering, but I heard it loud and clear...

"I know right ? She's probably using her popularity to befriend them"
said another girl from the back

"Maybe she's just desperate for attention !"
one of those girls said loudly as they laughed together

Out of instinct, I clinged more onto Seungkwan. I was hurt by those words of course. What did I do wrong...?

"At least she's never fake with us !!!" Seungkwan yelled back to them

"Don't listen to them Sophia, they're just jealous that you're better than anyone else"
said Hansol

"B-but--"

"None of what they're saying are true, so just ignore them. No matter what happen, both of us will protect you"
Seungkwan cut me off

"If any of them lay a hand on you, tell us. We'll make sure to take care of it, so don't worry" Hansol said with a smile

I just nodded as I felt relieved. I'm lucky to have these two by my side
