30 minutes have passed and Joshua's finally calmed down. Gosh, I'm sure he'd avoid girls as much as he could at this point

I feel sorry for him

"Thank you for helping me out earlier..." Said Joshua as he hugged his body

I don't know what in the hell would happen if I wasn't there. Joshua's all friendly and approachable at some times, seeing him this way pains me. Why ?

Because I've admired him for more than a year ? Or is it something more ?

Either way, I never want to see him like this again. I just don't. But how ? That girl would probably get away with almost everything with lies. I've never know her, but I just think she's that type of person.

Manipulative

"How are you feeling now ?" I asked him as I was still patting his back

"I don't know what to say... I'm not sure what I'm feeling... I just wish to lock myself in here and never go out..." Said Joshua as he curled up into a ball

"Do you maybe, need some time off this house ??? I mean... She have already knew where you are now and she'd probably come by again..." I said as I was really worried about him

He seemed to thought of something so he immediately sat up.

"Can I stay by your house ?" He asked, desperate

"E-eh ?" I was surprised by his sudden request

"Please ? I just want to escape from here for the time being... If I can't... It's alright..." Said Joshua. He sounded really desperate

Well I would too if I were him.

"Wouldn't your mom be mad ?" I asked

"I can always come up with a lie. I just need some time off of here" said Joshua

"If you say so I guess...? If it's for your own good, then I'd be gladly to allow you to stay there" I smiled at him, wanting comfort him

He then hugged me

"Thank you... You're seriously the only girl that I could trust now..." Said Joshua

I was surprised by his sudden action. He really is scared to death. I hope staying by my house would help him to recover a bit.
