"I-it's alright-- you weren't yourself earlier I understood---" I reassured him

Suddenly a notification entered. It was a message from mom. She said that she's on the way already. I guess she ended her work early.
"M-mom said she's on the w-way" I said to him
"She's on the way ?? Oh gosh... I'm not ready to face ALL of them" he facepalmed himself
"It'll be alright Joshua. I've witnessed it so it couldn't be wrong. It's two against one Joshua" I said to him
"But that woman can fool ANYONE" he said as he was frustrated
I held his hand gently as I gave him a reassuring smile
"I'll be there for you Joshua. Mom and dad would too. You're the victim here and I'll be sure to convince them. If you're scared, hold onto my hand as long as you could okay ?" I encouraged him, and luckily he actually felt reassured by that
"Thank you Sophia. I wouldn't know what to do if you weren't here..." He hugged me
For the last time, I hope this has been enough for you to finally live your life to its fullest. After this... We wouldn't be able to see each other anymore. I'd miss you dearly...
Thank you god, for giving me a chance to at least be close to him. I'm glad that I was able to to help him and I think that's more that enough. To make him happy that is.
