I looked at the time and it was already 7.50 AM. School session starts in an hour. I guess I'll have to go by his class first. Scared to let him off by himself after what happened yesterday

"Joshua school session is almost starting. We have to go back to class" I said to him

"Oh yeah. It'll start at 8.40..." he sighed

"I guess we'll be parting ways now. See you at lunch break" said Joshua. He sounded disappointed

"Come on, we'll go by your class first" I said as I picked up my books

"H-huh ? For what ?" He was puzzled

"Well those girls are going to swarm all over you or even chase you on your way to your class. Figured it'd be safer for me to tag along" I said to him

"But wouldn't it be exhausting for you ? Going to my class then yours ?" He asked

"It's alright. I don't mind walking" I smiled at him

Though, it's my feelings that'd be hurt. But for him, I'd do it. I don't want him to be uncomfortable

"If you say so" he smiled, feeling relieved

"Come on, let's go" I smiled

He stood up, bringing his things with him. Both of us then started walking to his class. People were giving me the judgemental look. Whispering

Usually I'd cling to someone, but he's not Seungkwan or Hansol....

I hugged my books tightly as I bit my lower lip, listening to them whispering loud enough for me to hear.

"Top student behaving this way ? Well this was unexpected"

"Who would've thought one of the best students was such a bitch"

"First Vernon and Seungkwan. Now Joshua ? Damn this girl's wild"

"Thought she's not the type to mess around with guys. She's literally three-timing them"

I looked down. Not wanting to even raise up my head. This is embarrassing. Those words coming from their mouths were all lies, yet why am I affected ???
