I told mom that I'd be home by tomorrow. After school that is. I could tell she's angry with me but I really have had enough living like this for years.

It was after dinner, Sophia have left to her room to rest while I was in the living room, with her parents that is.

"Thanks for joining us tonight Joshua. We were delighted to have you" said Auntie Sohyun with a smile

"Your parents didn't mind about you coming here ?" Uncle Jaehyun asked

"They were quiet angry about it but I ignored them" I replied

They were surprised by what I said. Well... Anyone would especially after people viewed me as the "perfect" guy

"If they were angry, why did you come ?" Asked Auntie Sohyun, she sounded concerned

"It's just... Um..." I pursed my lips, scared that I'd get scolded

"You can tell us Joshua. We're here to listen" said Uncle Jaehyun

I glanced at Auntie Sohyun and she was smiling warmly towards me. Basically reassuring me that everything would be alright and they're there to listen.

I took a deep breath before telling them everything. From their face, I could tell they pitied me.

"Now I understood why you've always came by to visit us" said Auntie Sohyun as she was patting my head softly

"Must've been hard for you being in that kind of situation" she added

"I don't know what to do. They wouldn't listen to me either... All I could think off is going back to L.A. once I'm done with highschool..." I said to them

"If you think that's the best path for you, go for it. We're rooting for you" Uncle Jaehyun said with a smile on his face

"Thank you so much for listening to my worries..." I thanked them

"You're welcome Joshua. If you're seeking for advices, feel free to ask me or Jaehyun. We're ready to provide you with everything possible" said Auntie Sohyun

I felt relieved after being able to talk with someone about it. Other than Sophia that is. I feel like they're my parents at this point. They really are taking care of me well

Sophia is lucky to have these two as her parents...
