When mom said she have arrived, Joshua was really nervous about what would happen. Of course, I kept on reassuring him that everything would be alright.

We went downstairs to see three families sitting down together. Joshua didn't wanna look up at all. I understood how it felt. Feeling pressured and anxious

"So everyone is here now ?" Asked mom

I could tell she sounded angry. Why are those two families looking intimidated ?? I mean yeah as they should but it gives off a different aura. It's more to trying not to be disrespectful.

"So I would like to ask, what in the heck is wrong with the two of you" she turned to Joshua's parents

She looked at them sharply

They didn't raise their heads up. They were quiet.

From the look of it, mom was ready to yell at them but I quickly went up to her to calm her down. Everything was tense and I'm sure Joshua would feel guilty over this since all of this happened because of what he brought up.

"What made you two think it's okay to be like that towards your child ??? Do you know how many times have he told me about wanting to leave this country so badly ?" She crossed her arms as she looked at them

"W-we just want the b-best for h-him" his father stuttered.

Do they know each other ??? The way they're intimidated is different...

"The best for him ?? You mean forcing him to live in a life that he doesn't want to ???" She raised her eyebrow

Both of them went quiet again

"Now YOU." She turned to the Parks

"Don't you know how to educate your child ??? Did you know what she did behind your back ?" Mom asked

"N-no Ma'am" her mother answered

"Sophia, you've witnessed it didn't you ? Mind telling us what happened ?" Mom turned to me.

I turned to Joshua, to get a permission from him and he nodded.

I began to tell them about what happened on that day and everyone was surprised by it. Melody of course looked at both of us in disbelief.

"I-I did not do that !" she protested

"Do you want me to go in details ? I remembered that day as CLEAR as day" I turned to her, which caused her to be quiet

Joshua was holding onto my hand tightly. He was still traumatized by that and I honestly felt sorry for him. I'm sure he doesn't want to talk about it this way but it's for the best.

"That's absurd ! My daughter is such an angel !" her father then protested

"If it's not made up, then why didn't the victim speak up for himself ?" her mother raised her eyebrow

"You're still calling your daughter an angel after what she have done to me ??? That's ABSURD !" Joshua spoke up and it surprised them.

"She's the opposite of what you guys viewed her and you two have the audacity to force me to marry her ?! That's MORE absurd !" he snapped

Joshua literally exposed that girl from head to toe. Everyone was speechless by that of course. He really have been bottling it up for YEARS. She had no comeback to that of course

"And you're still wondering why I didn't want to marry her ?" He turned to his parents

"Well that have settled it didn't it ?" Mom spoke up

"I want to cut ties with you two." Mom added and Joshua's father and Melody's mother were shocked by her sudden statement

"H-huh ?! Wh-why ?!" Melody's mother said in disbelief

"I don't want to have a relation with problematic people" said mom as she stood up

She then patted Joshua's head softly as she smiled

"You're brave for speaking up about it and I'm proud of you. Please take care okay ? If you need someone to depend on, I'd be there for you" said mom to him

"Thank you..." He thanked my mom

"Though it seems like you're not letting her go anytime soon. After all sh-"

"Ah that's another story !" I cut off my mom as I gestured her not to tell anything

She just smiled

"So you're staying here with him ?" Mom asked

"If both parties doesn't mind" I said as I turned to his parents

His mother turned to me and just nodded. Receiving a green light from her too.

"Well I'd take my leave now. Take care dear" she kissed my forehead as she ruffled Joshua's hair

After that she left.

Guess today's really a whole mess for both of us.
