I went back home right after school session ended. Mom greeted me and asked if everything is okay for me. Of course it's a NO. Knowing how my best friend left me without saying goodbye is never okay.

"What happened ?" She asked

"I just knew Sophia left to Canada. It's been like a week already and I've never noticed how she was behaving" I said as I was frustrated

"Joshua I'm so so so sorry" mom suddenly apologized

"What ?? What's with the sudden apology ?? If it's about your past mistakes it's not a problem anymore okay ??" I reassured her

"It's not that...." she added as she sounded guilty

"Then ???" I tilted my head

"Remember the day she gave that letter to you ?" She asked and I just nodded

"That day, she mentioned about it'd be the last time she'll be meeting us and I didn't know why she said that. Also she told me not to tell you anything so I didn't since... You know how bad things were... I'm so so sorry Joshua..." She apologized

She told mom but she didn't tell me ??? What's wrong with her ???

"I--- Nevermind--- It's alright. I'll go to my room now" I headed straight to my bedroom

I put down my bag and took out the letter Seungkwan handed to me earlier. When I opened the envelope, I was really surprised since the paper itself is really identical to that secret sender's

Hey Joshua ! By the time you've received this, I'm sure Seungkwan and Hansol have told everyone about my departure.

I'm sorry about suddenly leaving though. Since I didn't get to say a goodbye to all of you, this letter will be the message to do so.

It's finally a goodbye from me Joshua.

I'm sorry if I've been quiet annoying and clingy with you. I tend to be like that since I'm the youngest child and my siblings aren't here by my side anymore. I'm just glad you've never pushed me away.

Joshua, I'm just really happy that we're friends

Actually, I've been admiring you ever since my freshman year ! You've been such a hardworking and dedicated on studying. And of course, I've been looking up to you. Though, I've never knew that we'd ended up becoming friends. Not to mention, really really close.

I appreciate your kindness towards me Joshua. And I hope you've enjoyed your last minutes with me last Saturday night. It was truly a heartwarming night for me

I don't think I have anything else to tell you other than how grateful I am so I'm ending it here. Thank you so much for being a part of my life !

Just when I thought I don't have to leave Korea because of how things are resolved now... I've totally forgotten about how you'd still leave me. But I didn't expect it to be like this...

It's barely even a year that we've known each other... Gosh this is sad even for me...

I let out a sigh and changed my clothes since I wanted to meet auntie Sohyun first. I'm sure she knows why. After all, Sophia is really open towards her own mother. I just wanted to know the reason why that's all.

Auntie Sohyun's home for today and it's her husband who's taking care of the company. I'll take this as a chance to meet her.

I headed downstairs

"Mom, I'll be home by 8 PM like that if you don't mind. I wanna go somewhere" I said to her as I headed to the doorway

"To where ???" She asked

"Auntie Sohyun's house. I just needed to ask her some stuffs" I replied

"Ah, alright. Take care" said mom

"Will do" I replied as I put on my shoes then I head out to the bus stop.

Gosh... Everything just happened out of nowhere and it's making me sad already. No wonder why you've never answered my messages anymore. You're not even here and you didn't even tell me.

But I'm sure she have a reason behind this. I just hope... I'd get an answer to that.
