When her mother made that sudden remarks, it surprised me. She really want me to date Sophia ? What does she sees in me honestly ?
I couldn't help but blush by that sudden remarks too. Like that was just out of nowhere and I just don't know how to feel about it.
Don't get me wrong, Sophia's a good girl and if I could date her, I would. But I wasn't expecting her mother to be so accepting of me. We've literally known each other for like a month only though...
I brushed off all of these thoughts. There's no need to overthink such things.
Sophia and I decided to get on with our plan for today, so we left the mansion to a bus stop nearby.
We settled down on the bench provided there and it was kind of awkward between us. I mean, anybody would feel awkward after being told that type of stuffs.
When the bus arrived, we got on and waited until we've arrived at our destination. We went down and walked a bit until we've arrived at a cafe in the town we are in now.
Both of us ordered our food and drinks once we've decided. It was still awkward between us until she was the one who broke the silence between us
"Joshua I'm so so so sorry about mom earlier. She just likes to talk about this kind of stuffs" she sighed
"Oh my gosh Sophia it's alright ! There's no need to apologize for the second time" I laughed
"I guess, she's really into me being with you huh" I chuckled
"Oh believe me, she IS. Like A LOT. She said she'd feel relieved if it's you who'd date me" she laughed
"Well... I'm just glad that your mom is happy about me being there" I smiled
"I didn't get to say this but, sorry if my mom was... A bit unwelcoming before this..." I fiddled with my index fingers
"Oh my gosh there's no need to apologize Shua ! I understood that your mom's not the type to accept female guests" she reassured me
"She seemed to like that girl a lot too" she added
"Yeah and she won't stop being noisy about her" I rolled my eyes
I swear if I can't marry someone that I want in the future, I'm gonna leave Korea and go back to L.A.
