Me and Sophia's mom talked A LOT that night. She's really open and talkative which doesn't make me feel THAT awkward with her. She's also soft-spoken
"Joshua" she called out
"Yes Mrs Kim ?" I asked
"Oh gosh there's no need to label me as "Mrs Kim" omg ! It's past my work time" she laughed
"Aunt Sohyun is enough" she smiled
"Ah, I'm sorry about that Aunt Sohyun" I apologized
"It's alright" said Aunt Sohyun as she laughed softly
"Why did you suddenly call me ??" I asked
"Thank you" she suddenly thanked me so I'm puzzled
"Um, for what ?" I asked, confused
"For being Sophia's friend" she was still maintaining her smile
"W-why are you thanking m-me ?" I asked
"Sophia is really not that sociable because of how shy and introverted she is. She also have social anxiety which made it worst. I'm just glad somebody is willing to be her friend" said Aunt Sohyun
"There's no need to thank me omg !" I exclaimed
"If you would... Can you please look out for her from time to time ? I don't know who else I could count on on this type of stuffs" she chuckled
"I certainly will" I smiled at her
"Thank you so much Joshua" she smiled back
"Well, I'm off to bed now. Good night Joshua. Thank you for having a talk with me tonight" said Aunt Sohyun
"My pleasure Aunt Sohyun ! Rest well" I waved at her
She waved back and left to her room
I looked at the clock and I've also decided I should call it a night for today. I switched off the television and went to the room I'm staying in.
I laid down as I stared onto the ceiling
"Odd... This family is odd..." I uttered
