After weeks have passed, I could finally be myself again. Focuses on studying, myself and my studies. Ignoring the whispers and insults.

I could finally be at peace. I've also made it clear to everyone that I don't want anyone to annoy me. Luckily they actually took that as a warning.

Today, I'm going by Joshua's to study together. Usually we'd study by the library, but he really wanted me to come by his house. Well, to avoid that girl. Of course, I didn't mind.

Sure his mom is really against me coming by their house, but both of us never listen to her though. Like get the sign already that Joshua hates that girl so much. Stop trying to set them up ugh

Once we've arrived at his house, we could see there are like 3 pairs of shoes lined up. Her whole family is here I guess ?

"I'm home" said Joshua

"Omg Joshua you're finally here--- what is SHE doing here ?" said Melody

"Uh I invited her over ?" He raised his eyebrow. He was cautious around her

"But we're having dinner as a family !" She exclaimed

"Sorry but I'm going out tonight" said Joshua with a straight face

"Come on in" he invited me in with a smile

"Thanks for having me" I entered his house

Melody glared at me. I ignored her of course.

"Oh Joshua ! You're home !" His mom greeted. She saw me and her smile faded slowly

"I see you brought a 'guest'" said his mom as she felt annoyed just by my presence

"Ah yes, I'm helping her with studies. And tonight I have to go somewhere with her" said Joshua

"HUH ?" his father was surprised by what Joshua said

"Yeah, you heard that right. Her parents invited me out and I couldn't say no" he shrugged

I could see that girl's parents were scanning me from head to toe. They seemed "disgusted" by the way I'm dressed up. Yeah I changed my clothes before going here.

What ? Thinking that I'm from a poor family ? Hilarious.

Face it, this guy have no feelings for that girl.
