I texted my mom the location of Joshua's house so she could pick me up later. I decided to read a novel while waiting for both Joshua and his mom.
His mom looked a bit disappointed that it was me. A.K.A "another girl". I think she was really expecting that girl earlier. That's kind of weird though. Don't she notice that Joshua doesn't even talk to her nor like her being close to him
Mrs.Hong then set down a teapot of tea and 3 teacups on the small table in front of me with a few grain crackers.
She was about to pour it but I stopped her
"I-it's okay ma'am, let me do it instead" I said as I took the teapot from her gently and poured it into the teacups.
She was taken aback by it of course
"You can sit down ma'am. It's more than enough that you've provided these for me" I smiled at her
As surprised as she is, she still sat down and drank took a sip of the hot tea
I sat down and took a sip of it
"Thank you for making this for me ma'am, but you didn't have to do this for me" I laughed
"I guess I now know where Joshua's gentleman trait comes from" I added as I smiled remembering how Joshua is in school
"You seem to be fond of my son. Are you sure you're not his girlfriend ?" his mom asked and I could feel my face heating up
I laughed
"I don't think I'm good enough for Joshua" I said to her
It was then Joshua came downstairs
