Not too long after that, we stopped a taxi and we went straight to his house. We didn't talk in the taxi. It was kind of awkward especially after that just happened.
What if that girl actually came to Joshua's house ? It'd be 10 TIMES more awkward ugh...
It wasn't that long until we've arrived at his house. Joshua paid for the taxi fee and both of us went to the front door. Joshua comes from a wealthy family, wow. Seriously what do this guy lack of ? He seriously have a perfect life.
Wealthy, smart, a whole gentleman, basically A LOT of positive traits about him. I wonder why he's been really moody nowadays.
"I'm home" said Joshua as he opened the door
"Come on in" Joshua invited me in
"T-thanks for having me" I entered his house
"Welcome home honey !" his mom greeted
"Oh is this the friend you were talking about ?" she asked
"Yeah. I hope you wouldn't mind" said Joshua
"I wasn't expecting for another girl, but of course anyone is welcome ! Come and sit by me" his mom invited me to sit on a couch close to her
Of course I couldn't decline it. I came by, sitting close to her
"I'll be back soon. I have to change my clothes" said Joshua as he left to his room
"If you don't mind, I'll be making some tea for you dear" his mom said with a smile as she stood up
"O-of course I wouldn't mind" I smiled back at her
She then took her leave to the kitchen to make some tea for us. She seemed really friendly and welcoming. Was she expecting that girl to come ? What relationship does both of them have to be honest ? I feel like it's MORE than just an "old friend"
