Me or Her?

The next day after the whole incident with Izzie. You get up and get in the shower. You get out of the shower and put on shirts and shorts. You grab a sling and wrap it around your head and place your stitched up arm in it. You grab your bookbag and start walking down the stairs. You go to the kitchen and grab your coffee cup. You start your coffee and waits. Alex and Meredith and Cristina then walks down the stairs and goes to the kitchen. "Damnnnn y/n." Cristina says while walking up to you. "You fought Izzie?" Cristina says while looking at your hands.

"It's not a big deal." you say. "Those are surgeon hands, not fighting hands y/n!" Cristina says. You grab your coffee and pour it in the cup. You grab the cup and walk to the car. Cristina, Meredith, and Alex then get in the car and we drive to the hospital. You all then walk to the residents lounge. You start changing into your scrubs. "Look who's back." Jackson says while walking towards you. "Oh your not hiding anymore?" You say to Jackson. You grab your pager and then put your white coat around your sling. "Let's go." you tell Jackson. While you and Jackson are walking he starts talking to you. "What happened to your arm and face?" He asks. "Mall blew up." you say while pointing to your face. "Got into a fight." you point to your hands. "Cut myself." you point to your arm sling. "Damn. Badass." Jackson says while letting a chuckle. You laugh a little too.

Once you get to Bailey she tells you what service your on. "You guys are on cardio today. Take it easy y/n. I don't want you punching someone on the surgical floor.." Bailey says as she walks away. "Ready for cardio?" You ask Jackson. "Hell yeah." Jackson says. You and Jackson walk to the cardio wing. "Hello Johnson and Avery." Hahn says. "Um where's Burke?" you ask. "Burke quit yesterday." Hahn says. "Oh.." you say. "I want you guys to do my pre op and post op. After y'all done you can go home." Hahn says as she walks away. "Wanna split them or do them together?" you ask Jackson. "Your hurt. Let's just do it together."Jackson says as he picks up the charts. You and Jackson start doing pre and post op on the patients.

Alex POV:

Alex and Izzie are arguing in the residents lounge. "Your friend is out of control." Izzie says. "No she's not..." Alex says. "Why are you defending her?!" Izzie yells at Alex. "She's my best friend Iz. She was there before you.." Alex says. "Are you freaking kidding me Alex? Do y'all have feelings for eachother or something?" Izzie yells. "No Iz. We promised eachother not to have feelings for eachother. I don't like y/n and she doesn't like me." Alex starts to explain. "Oh my gosh Alex! You obviously have feelings for her." Izzie says. "I don't. She's my best friend. I knew her ever since she was little when we lived in Iowa!" Alex yells at Izzie. "I hate to go this far.. but it's me or her Alex.." Izzie yells. Alex stays quiet. "Me or HER ALEX!" Izzie yells. Alex still stays quiet.

Back to your POV;

You and Jackson finish your post and pre op. "Good job partner." Jackson says while nudging you. "Ouch. That's my hurt arm." you say. "How about I redo your stitches cause um. Your bleeding." Jackson says. "Oh no. Okay let's go." you say. You and Jackson walk to the clinic. You then sit down and he does the stitches on your arm. "O-OUCH." you say. "My bad." Jackson says. He finishes the stitches and wraps a bandage on the cut. "There." Jackson says. "Thank you Mr. Harper Avery grandson." you say. You and Jackson then start laughing. After you and Jackson joke around for a little you go back to the residents lounge.

You grab your bag and go home.

You arrive home.

You walk up to the porch and unlock the front door. You walk in to see Meredith, Cristina, and Lexie dancing.  "Um. Okay.." you say. "Come dance with us y/n." Meredith says. "After I find Alex." you say while hanging your jacket up. "Alex left with Izzie an hour ago." Meredith says. "Oh.." you say. "Well I'm coming back downstairs in a second." You say while running upstairs. You put your bag down. You grab your phone and text Alex; "Hey Alex, you left before I got home. I'll talk to you later." you text. You then turn your phone off and go downstairs to dance with them.

After a while of dancing Cristina turns the music off. "Y/n we need to talk." Cristina says. Everyone sits down on the floor. "Okay. I'm moving out y/n." Cristina says. "Wait why?" you say. "Burke left me his apartment and I'm tired of living in this house." Cristina says. "I move out tomorrow." Cristina says. "Also, Lexie is moving into the attic." Meredith starts to say. "Your moving in Lexie?" you look at Lexie.

"Yep!" she says. "Cool." you say. "We are also gonna clean out the storage room and make it a bedroom for 2 more people to move in." Meredith says. "So then Cristina room, across the hall from you will be free. And the room down the hall will be free." Meredith says. "I have the perfect roommate to move in!" you yell. "He's a mercy wester though!" you say. "Who?" Meredith and Lexie say at the same time. "Jackson." you say.

"Okay I guess. Ask him if he needs a place to stay." Meredith says. You, Lexie, Meredith, and Cristina just talk on the floor for a while, while drinking tequila. You get up and grab blankets from the closet. You give everyone a blanket and then you all fall asleep. While your sleep your phone is blowing up with text messages from Alex.

"Y/n?" Alex text says.

"I'm sorry for this.." Another message says.

"I can't talk to you anymore.." A text says.

"We can't be best friends anymore.." Alex text message says.

"I'm sorry, I choose Izzie over you.." A text message says.

"I'm also moving out this tomorrow." Another text from Alex says.

"I'm sorry.." The last text message from Alex says.
