The new doctor.

Nothing Big.

You wake up at about 8. You turn over to see Arizona drooling next to you. You tap her nose. "Morning sleepyhead." you say. "Morning babe." Arizona says. "Since we like never ride to work together, Wanna ride together today?" you say. "God your breath smells awful." Arizona says. "Excuse me." you say. Arizona starts laughing. You get up and throw the pillow on her face. "Get dressed." you say. You go into the bathroom and brush your teeth. Arizona then comes in the bathroom.

"Let me know how Journey and Mariyah is please." you say brushing your teeth. You spit out the toothpaste as Arizona puts the toothbrush in her mouth. You look under the sink and grab the gel. You take your hair out the 4 braids. You detangle your hair and put the gel in the back and front. You start brushing the back of your hair so it's slick. Arizona is just staring at you. You take the bow and put your hair into a tight high puff. You then wash your hands to get all the gel off.

Arizona spits out her toothpaste and puts her toothbrush back in the little cup. You go into the bedroom and change into some scrubs. You grab your bag and the extra clothes for Journey and go downstairs. You grab your little Starbucks cup and make your iced coffee. "Arizona! We are gonna be late!" you yell. Arizona comes rushing down the stairs. You and Arizona walk out the house and get into your car. You start driving to the hospital.

You then arrive to the hospital. You grab your cup, clothes, and the bag and walk with Arizona to peds. You get to Journeys room. "Y/n!" Journey says. "I bought you some comfortable clothes. Your gonna be here for the rest of week." you say. "You didn't have to..." Journey says. "It's fine. I have to go to work though, if you need anything. Have them page me." you say leaving the clothes with Journey. You then go to the attendings lounge.

You set your drink on the table as you put your bag in your locker. Alex then walks in as your changing your shoes. "This your drink?" Alex says. "Yes, why?" you say. Alex grabs your cup and takes a big sip. "Alex!" you say as you get up. "It's very good." Alex says taking another sip. "Go to hell." you say snatching your cup from Alex. "You drunk almost all of it Alex!" you say punching him in the shoulder. "Can I have the rest?" Alex says. You hand the drink to Alex when you get a sharp pain. "Ouch!" you say. "What's wrong y/n?" Alex says. "Nothing." you say standing up straight.

Your pager starts going off. "Consult in the pit." you say. "Leave my cup in my cubby." you tell Alex as you walk out. You walk down to the pit. "I got called for a consult?" you say. "Curtain 10." April says. You grab your gloves and put them on. "I am Dr. Johnson, and you here with a headache and nausea?" you say. "Yeah." the boy says. "What's your name?" you ask. "Landon." he says. "Okay Landon, I'm going to do a quick exam." you say. You take the light and shine it in his eyes. "Equal." you say out loud. You do the exam part but everything seems fine. "Have you had any trauma lately?" you ask. "I um, fell off my skateboard last week and hit my head." Landon says.

"Let me guess, you weren't wearing a helmet." you say. "Nah." Landon says. "Well I have to take you up for a head CT to make sure your brain isn't bleeding." you say. You grab the phone and call ahead to ct. You hand Landon a blue gown. "Put this on." you say. You close the curtains. 5 minutes later Landon says he's ready.

  

You unlock the gurney and roll it into the elevator. You get another sharp pain in your stomach. You then get to CT. You help Landon into the CT. You go into the main room and start the CT machine. "Shepherd! I'm on your service toda-" Stephanie starts saying but realize it's you. "Dr. Johnson! Your back!" Stephanie says. "Hi Edwards!" you say. "When did you come back?" Stephanie asks. "Few days ago." you say.

"What badass thing are we working on today?" Stephanie asks. The scans then pop up. You look at the scans closely but don't see anything. "Nothing." Stephanie says. "Nope." you say. "I want to actually admit him for a day. This is weird." you say. "Get him checked into a regular room, run his blood work and let me know ASAP." you tell Stephanie. Stephanie goes and takes Landon to a patient room. You walk to find Meredith. You check everywhere but you can't find Meredith. You then check the daycare to see Meredith playing with Zola. You walk in. "I was looking for you everywhere!" you say.
