You wake up at about 12. You sit up. You grab your phone. You text Ms. Joy. "I'm coming there around 2." you text. You then put your phone on the charger. You get in the shower. You get out the shower and brush your teeth. You then look in the mirror to see your red hair is kinda fading. You grab your brush and gel and slick your hair back. You then put on a headband. You change into your clothes.

You grab your phone, purse and keys. You go downstairs and go into the the kitchen. It's just plain empty. You then get another text message. "Everyone meet in the Marks room at 5." Derek texts everyone that was on the plane. You put your phone in your pocket and drive to Ms.Joys office. You park in the parking lot of her office complex. You look in the mirror and take a deep breath. You get out the car and walk into the building. You stare walking and looking for Ms. Joys office. You get to her office and knock on the door. She then comes opens the door while your looking down at the floor.
"Y/n Johnson, is that you!" Ms. Joy says while joking around. You hug Ms. Joy. "I'm sorry for not keeping in touch." you say. "Come in." Joy says. You walk into her office and sit on her couch. "So what's been happening?" Joy says. "A lot." you say. "Well tell me" Joy says. You take a deep breath. "Um, my girlfriend asked me to move in with her." you say while smiling. "I'm in the middle of my 4th year. I live with my best friend. I got hit with a softball bat and had to get surgery." you say.
"Um, I was in a plane crash. Had to get more surgery. One of best friends died out there." you say. "I'm so sorry y/n." Joy says. "It's fine. I'm not allowed to go back to work till next week. But I can't do surgery until I get cleared by dumb Perkins." you say. "Any secrets you want to tell me?" Joy says. "Not everyone knows this, but I speak Spanish. I mean it's not a secret." you say while laughing. "Say something in Spanish." Joy says. "Quiero mudarme con mi novia pero todos la culpan por ponerme en el avió." (I want to move in with my girlfriend but everyone is blaming her for putting me on the plane) you say.
You talk with Joy for about a hour. Your alarm goes off at 4:30. "I have to go. I think we are about to unplug my bestfriends boyfriend who also is going to die because of the plane crash." you say while getting up. You hug Ms. Joy. While your walking out your halfway down the hallway when Joy calls your name. "You forgot your bag!" Joy says. You hold out your hand to grab it and it happens to be the bruised hand you punched your mom with. "What happened to your hand?" Joy asks. "Nothing." you say while putting it your pocket. "I'll see you soon." you say as you grab your purse.
You start walking really fast to the elevator. You then get into your car and shut the door really fast. You then look at your hand. You ignore it and drive to the hospital. You get to Marks room at about 4:55. You see Derek and Callie there. You just stand in the back near Jackson so you don't get in the way. You watch as they start unplugging Mark. They are about to unplug the last one. You quickly just walk out of the icu into the hallway. You sit on the floor against the wall and put your head on your knees.
Alex sees you in the hallway so he sits next to you quietly. He looks at your hands and notice the big bruise on your hand. You feel alex touch you and your reaction smacks him in the face. "Oh my god." you say. "Shit!" Alex says while getting up. He covers his nose cause it's starts bleeding. "I'm sorry." you say. You get up and help Alex up. You grab his hand and you guys go into the girls bathroom. "This is a chicks bathroom." Alex says while holding his nose. "You want me to help you or not?" you say while setting your purse on the counter. You grab the paper towels and wet them a little. "What's up with the bruise on your hand?" Alex says.
You completely ignore him. You keep wiping his face. "What the hell did you do y/n?" Alex says while stopping your hand. "Nothing!" you say. "Is Arizona hurting you?" Alex says. "Alex, are you freaking kidding me? The human rainbow hurting someone?" you say. "No she didn't hit me nor hurt me. I know your my best friend but if it gets out there's no promising-" you say but then stop talking and finish wiping Alex's nose. "Tell me." Alex says.
"Alex I can't." you say while throwing the tissue away. "Please. Remember we don't keep stuff from eachother." Alex says. You check the stalls to see no ones in there. "I went to Olympia to visit my mom." you say. "So?" Alex says. "We got into a big argument." you say. "That doesn't explain how you have a bruise on your hand?" Alex says. "Alex, don't tell anyone! Or I swear to god I'll kill you." you say. "I promise, now hurry and tell me!" Alex says. "She punched me in the face, so I punched her back." you say.
"You punched your mother?" Alex says. "She deserved it Alex! It's not like I'm a criminal or something!" you say. "Well is she okay?" Alex asks. "She fell unconscious and I got scared and left." you say. "Well did you tell your father?" Alex says. "¡Por supuesto no! ( Of course not!) I'm already in a lot of crap right now." you say. "Don't speak Spanish to me y/n." Alex says. " Now please Alex, please don't tell anyone." you say. "You have blood on your shirt." you say while grabbing your bag. You walk out and go to a supply closet. You wrap your hand up in the bandage. You walk out the supply closet and start walking to the lobby.
You then see just sit on the bench and watch as the sun sets. You feel a touch on your shoulder and it makes you flinch. You look up to see it's Meredith and Zola. "There's my niece!" you say while holding out your hands. Meredith hands you Zola. You hug on Zola while walking with Meredith to the car. What happened with your hand?" Meredith says while still walking. "Oh nothing-" you say. You then get to Meredith's car. "How's Derek?" you ask. "He may only get 80% of hand function back.." Meredith says. You strap Zola in her carseat. "Owen asked us to meet in the conference room tomorrow at 9. I was supposed to let you know." Meredith says. "Okay." you say.
You step away from Meredith's car and watch as she pulls away. You walk to your car. You look up and look around. It's just you in the empty parking lot. You feel another tap on your shoulder. It's Alex and Jo. "Can we get a ride?" Alex asks. "Uh, sure." you say. You all walk to your car. Jo gets in the backseat and Alex sits in the passenger seat. "Dr. Johnson, what happened to your hand?" Jo asks. "Just call me y/n please. Nothing important just a little cut." you say.
You finally get to the house. Alex and Jo get out. You sit in the car for a while just staring. You finally get out the car. You go into the house and walk upstairs to your room. You look at your hand. "Crap." you say. You then sit on your bed and just watch tv until you fall asleep.
