The new doctor.

Awaken.

It's been a week. Your still not awake. Kayla and Ken are in your room while your dad and Jessica talk to your doctors. "Why isn't she awake?" Ken whispers to Kayla. "I don't know." Kayla says. They hold your hand as they watch the tv. You start waking up but nobody realizes it. You start fighting intubation which is making you choke. Ken runs in the hallway. "SHES CHOKING!" he yells. Everyone runs in the room. "Calm down y/n." Bailey says. She lays the bed back. She then pulls the tube out of your mouth.

You start coughing. "H-hey guys." you say while blinking your eyes. Ken and Kayla get on your bed and hug you. You use all the strength you can to wrap your arms around them. Your dad and Jessica then come over and hug you. "DONT scare us!" your dad says while crying. You start giggling. You then talk with everyone for a while. "We have to get back to Vancouver." your dad says. "Okay. I understand." you say. They all say their goodbyes as they leave.

It's just you and Dr. Bailey. You hold your arms out. "Come on Bailey, you know you want a hug from me." you say while smiling. Bailey sighs and hugs you. "Thank you for saving me." Bailey says. "Do you remember what happened?" Bailey asks. "I was in a plane crash with Mark,Derek,Meredith,Cristina and um Lexie.. Lexie was in the back of the plane with me. She got stuck under the wing and we couldn't get her out." you say while crying. "We couldn't save her so she died right in front of me..." you say. "Anyways! Let's not think about dying right now." you say while wiping your face.

"How's everyone?" you ask. "Mark is in a coma. Cristina isn't talking. Derek had surgery on his hand." Bailey says. "Oh." you say with a voice change. "Can you put me in the same room as Cristina now?" you ask. "I'll see." Bailey says while smiling. Bailey then walks out. You see your phone so you grab it. The video of you and Lexie smiling and laughing pops up. You start crying a little. You just put your phone down and watch tv. Alex then runs in the room. You look at Alex and smile. Alex then hugs you really tight to the point where he's basically squeezing you. "Ouch. Okay Alex." you say while laughing.

Alex still won't let go. "Um. Alex. You can let go." you say. Alex finally let's go. "Are you okay?" Alex says while checking your face. "I should be." you say. "So you remember everything?" Alex asks while sitting on your bed. "I wish I didn't, but yeah." you tell Alex. Bailey then walks in with a wheelchair. "Where we going?" you say. "Get some new scans and then I'ma put you in a room with Cristina." Bailey says. You try standing up but your about to fall when Alex catches you. He sits you in the wheelchair and hands you the blanket. Bailey then rolls you to get your scans. You get up on the machine. Bailey pushes the button that rolls you back.

You lay and look up at the machine. "Dr. Bailey?" you ask. "Yes?" Bailey says over the intercom. "Shouldn't I have died out there?" you say. "No y/n!" Bailey says. You start laughing and crying at the same time. After bailey finishes the scan she comes in and hits the button. She helps you in your wheelchair. She then rolls you into Cristina room where she's just laying there not talking. "Hey Cristina." you say. She doesn't respond. Bailey helps me up on the bed.

"Ill be back to check on you soon." Bailey says. You then just look at the tv. Arizona then walks in. "Y/n?" Arizona says. "I'm sorry." Arizona says while crying. "It's okay. You didn't know." you tell Arizona. Cristina still isn't talking nor moving. Arizona then comes over to you. She lays on the edge of the bed and you wrap your arms around her. You rub your fingers through her silky blonde hair. "How was visiting your brothers Memorial?" you ask Arizona. "Sad. But I should be fine." Arizona says. "Arizona." you say. "Yes y/n." Arizona asks.

"Please don't leave me." you tell Arizona. "I promise." Arizona says. You kiss Arizona's forehead while still rubbing your fingers through her hair. Cristina is just staring at you guys but not talking. Arizona. Arizona then gets paged. "I have to save a tiny human." Arizona says as she gets up. She gives you a kiss as she leaves. You then turn over and stare at Cristina. "Can you talk?" you ask. "It's funny how your over there kissing her but she was the one who caused you to get on the plane." Cristina says. She then turns back around and looks at the wall.

You turn back around and face the window of the room. The night goes by and it's very quiet and deadly in Cristina and your room. Bailey comes by to do labs on both of us. You then go to sleep for the rest of the night. You wake up the next morning. Cristina is just staring into daze but you remembered what she told you last night. Alex comes in and gives you both your breakfast. You eat your breakfast while talking to Alex. Alex hands you a bucket cause you look like your about to puke.

You grab the bucket and throw up. "Blah." you say. Alex then dumps out the bucket for you. You push your tray away. Alex then gets a page. "I got to go. I'll see you soon." Alex says. He gets up and walks out. You look at Cristina who's just staring. You kick your feet to the side of the bed. You grab your monitors and walk to the bathroom. On the way to the bathroom you fall. You then sit against the wall cause you can't get up. Cristina stares at you. She then decides to get up and get help you up.

Crisitna starts helping you walk to your bed. You sit back in the bed and Cristina goes to her bed. "Cristina." you say. "You can go to sleep. I'll stay up." you say. "O-okay." Cristina says. She turns over and stares at the wall until she falls asleep. Bailey then comes in for the last check of the night. "Shh. She's sleeping." you whisper. "How did you get her to sleep?" Bailey whispers to you. "It's fine." you say. Bailey then checks your labs and your incision. "Okay, goodnight y/n, page me if you ever need anything." Bailey says. Bailey then walks out. You stay up for about a hour.

You then fall asleep for the night.
