Let's skip to you going back to work.

Your about 1/4 though your 5th year. You've already started studying by yourself. There are filming a documentary of the people affected by the plane crash.

Y'all had a night shift at the hospital. Arizona went home to stay with Sofia and Kali.

Your in charge of the ER.

Your studying your textbooks when the phone rings. "MVC coming in 5." The person over the phone says. "It's go time." you say to the camera. You close your textbook. "Everyone listen up!" you yell. Everyone is still talking over you. You slam the textbook on the desk. "EVERYONE LISTEN UP!" you yell. Everyone becomes quiet. "WE HAVE A MVC OF 2 CARS. AT LEAST 6 PEOPLE ARE INJURED. I NEED EVERYONE TO GET O NEG, IVS AND PREP THE TRAUMA ROOMS!" you yell. "OTHER RESIDENTS OVER HERE." you also yell. People start scattering the ER.

The camera man is just following you around.

Wilson, Ross, Edwards, Brooks, and Murphy run up to you. "Ross, Brooks, Murphy prepare trauma rooms. Wilson, Edwards your outside with me." you say. Everyone then separates. You tie your hair into a ponytail and grab your trauma gowns . You, Wilson, and Edwards walk outside.

"What do we got!" you say. "Gwen James, 32, 7 months pregnant with trauma to the arm and leg. Husband and 2 kids are behind her." The ET says. "WILSON, TAKE HER TO TRAUMA ROOM 1 AND PAGE OB." you say. Wilson takes the patient on the gurney in. "What do we got?" you say opening the next ambulance. "Hailey Bennet, 10, crash en route, free fluid in the abdomen." the other ET says. "Take her Edwards and page Peds." you say. Edwards takes her patient. "Dr. Johnson?" Brooks says. "What's up Brooks?" you say. "Can we get our trauma gowns on as well?" Brooks says. "Go ahead." you say as the next 3 ambulances pull up.

"ROSS TAKE THE 1st, BROOKS AND MURPHY TAKE THE 2nd!" you say. "What do we got?" you say. William Sav, 21, driver of one of the cars. Severe head trauma. Fell unconscious in route." the ET says. "Blood pressure is bottoming out!" you say. Brooks and Ross bring their patients in. You help roll the patient in. While your rolling the patient they start seizing. "LETS GET UP TO AN OR AND PAGE DEREK SHEPHERD!" you yell. You turn the patient on their side so they stop seizing. You get in the elevator to see Derek already there waiting on you.

"SEVERE TRAUMA TO THE HEAD! STARTED SEIZING ON THE WAY UP HERE!" you yell. You guys get to the OR. They put the patient under anesthesia. You start getting scrubbed. "Your going to do the surgery." Derek says. "What do you mean? I'm going to help you out." you say while laughing. "I can't y/n. I'm not cleared yet." Derek says. A intern then comes in. "Dr. Johnson, his BP is dropping." The intern says. "Maldita sea Derek." ( Damn it Derek.)  you say. You hold your hands up and go through the door. You dry your hands off and put the gloves on. "Scalpel." you say while holdings your hand out. Bohkee hands you your scalpel. You start cutting.

A hour into surgery there's still bleeding. "Derek there's way to much blood!" you say while still suctioning. "What would I do?" Derek says. "It's a epidural bleed.." you say. "Throw a shunt." you say. You put the shunt to stop the bleeding. "No more bleeding." you say. "I did it!" you say while smiling to Derek then the camera. "You did it!" Derek says. After another hour you finally finish. "Get them to Post op. Then take a break." Derek says. You take off the bloody gowns and gloves. "I have to get back to the ER." you say. You take the patient to post op. You write down the vitals and leave it on the chart.

You go back to the ER. You see that the ER is now cleared and calmed down. You go to the desk where your textbook is. You sit at the chair and start studying more. The clock hits 6. Your shift is finally over. You see the residents. "Good job today." you say while walking past them.

You go to the residents lounge where the camera man is waiting in there for you. "Dr. Johnson! Willing to do an interview?" The camera man says. "I guess." you say. You sit at the table. "What's your name?" The reporter says. "I'm y/n Johnson."  you say. "How are you? How was the plane crash? How do you feel about buying the hospital?" The reporter keeps. "I'm just glad to be alive. Now excuse me, I have to go." you say while getting up. As soon as you get up your pager starts going off.  You check your pager to see 911. "Shit!" you say. You start running as the camera man follows you.

"What happened?" you say while putting on the gloves. " started coding about 2 minutes ago." the intern on the case says.  "LETS PUSH ONE OF EPI!" you say. "Charge to 150!" you say. Clear. Nothing happens. "200!" you yell. Clear. "SINUS RHYTHM!" The nurse yells. "We are going to have to intubate." you say. "Endotracheal tube please." you say. They hand you the tube. You place the tube in the mouth and connect it to the ventilator. You grab the chart and fill it out. You walk out to the camera pointing in your face. "Get out of my face." you say. "Why are you so mad? What's your deal?" The camera man says.

"What's my deal?" you say. "I'll tell you my fucking deal! You all up in my face with that big ass camera!" you yell. "ITS BEEN A LONG NIGHT AND I CANT EVEN GO HOME. So yes I'm a little pissed off and that camera isn't helping because I swear the next time you put it in my face, ILL BREAK IT!" you yell. You then walk down the hallway back to the residents lounge. You grab your text books and sit on the couch. You sit with your legs crossed and your back straighten out. You start stretching in the chair. You look through your textbook and highlight important things. You also put sticky notes on each page.

You study for about a hour when your pager goes off again. You put the book in your cubby and start running. You get back to room. The patients crashing again. "200!" you yell. "CLEAR." you say. Nothing. "250!" you yell. "CLEAR!" you yell again. Nothing. You check for a pulse. The camera is zooming in on your sweaty face. "Damn it." you say. "Time of Death. 18:10." you say as you put the paddles back on the cart. They cover the dudes face up. You type the time of death on the chart and then you sign it. You walk out the patients room. "Can you answer questions for us Dr. Johnson?" The reporter says. "If you take one more step closer to me or put that damn camera in my face, I'll break both of you." you say irritatedly. You stomp away and grab your things from the residents lounge.

You go to your car and drive back to Arizona's house. You get there. Your legs are so tired. You get right in the house and close the door and lock it behind you. You take your shoes off while walking upstairs. You take off your dirty bloody scrubs and lay in the bed next to Arizona. You fall asleep immediately.
