The new doctor.

5th year.

You wake up the next day. Arizona isn't there. You get up and change into some scrubs. You then tie your hair back and go downstairs. Arizona's car isn't there. You check the time to see it's 8. You grab your keys and start driving to the hospital. You get to the residents lounge where everyone is talking. You go to your cubby. You sit down clearly tired. Alex sits next to you and pinches you.

"What the hell alex!" you say. "We finally 5th years y/n!" Alex says. You doze off. "Y/n?" Alex says while shaking you. "Huh!" you say. "Baileys giving us assignments.." Alex says. "Today everyone is being on a service your never on!" Bailey says. "Yang on Neuro. Karev on Cardio. Avery on General. April on Peds." Bailey is saying. You start dozing off again. Alex is about to wake you but bailey interrupts him. "Don't wake her. Everyone go where they are supposed to go." Bailey whispers. Everyone leaves and it's just you and Bailey in the room. Bailey pinches you on the ear and pulls you up. "Ow ow ow ow." you keep saying.

"Since your sleep, your going to do something that helps the community." Bailey says. "Station 19 needs someone to help them with flu shots. It wasn't gonna be you at first. But I hope you enjoy it over there. An ambulance is about to leave so I best think you get on it and head over there." Bailey says while slamming a clipboard in your hand. You grab your jacket and run to the E.R. "You guys going to Station 19?" you say. "Yeah." Matthew says. "Let me get a ride please." you say. They let you in the back and you sit in the back.

They drop you off at the station and you walk in through the front. You go to the desk to find a firefighter. "Hello, I was sent here to help with flu shots?" you say. "Oh hello! I'm Victoria but you can call me Vic!" she says while holding her hand out. "Y/n Johnson, nice to meet you." you say. "It's just gonna be me, you, Ben, and Travis." Vic says while getting up. "Cool. So where do we set up?" you say while carrying a big bag. "Outside in the driveway." Vic says. You both walk outside to a table. "Cars would go pass here and if they are getting a shot they will pull over and we go to their car and give it to them!" Vic says.

"Oh okay cool." you say. You set up all the shots on the table. You take your jacket off because the sun is beaming on you. A few minutes later cars start rolling in. "You know how to do shots right?" you ask. "Of course!" Vic says. You and Vic start going up to cars and giving people shots. Homeless people then start walking up. "Where's the other two people?" you ask Vic. Vic then turns and looks around. She points into the fire station. "TRAVIS! BEN!" Vic says. "Help those people over there!" Vic yells.

"Badass." you say. You and Vic laugh. You then keep giving people shots in their cars. You guys finish with a lot of people at around 3. You start cleaning up the area. "That was very time consuming." Vic says while laughing. "I know right!" you say while throwing the stuff in the trash. "Did I also tell you how much I like your hair?" Vic says. "Thanks!" you say. " Chief Herrera! Y/n and I finished all of the shots!" Vic says. "We did too!" Travis says. You, Ben, Vic, and Travis look for chief Herrera.

"Chief?" Ben says. You all walk upstairs. You all then split up. You trip over something while walking down a hallway. You get up and look to see what you tripped over and it's Chief Herrera. "Oh my god! HES OVER HERE!" you yell. You check for a pulse as everyone else runs over there. You start doing CPR. "Oh my god!" Ben says. "Call an ambulance!" you say. Ben runs and calls an ambulance.

"Vic! I know you don't know me but are you strong?" you say while still doing CPR. "Uh yeah." Vic says as her voice cracks. "Travis, you don't know me either but are you strong?" you ask. "Yeah." Travis says. "We have to get him downstairs. I need you two to lift on 3 while I keep pushing on his chest gently." You all lift and slowly walk down the stairs. You guys bring him outside and put him on the ground gently. "Is there anything I should know about him!" you say while still pumping his chest. "He has cancer." Ben says.
