Lobectomy.

The next morning your labs and everything look good. Bailey does a ultrasound to see if your lung is still bleeding. "Your bleeding is getting worse y/n." Bailey says. "Let me see." you say. Bailey turns the monitor to show you. "It's not that bad." you say while sitting up. "You do realize once you show signs of your lung about to fail, your new next of kin has the right to tell me to do the surgery?" Bailey says. "Duh." you say. Bailey then walks out.

A hour later they bring you your lunch but you don't eat it. You start coughing. You grab the bucket cause you feel like your about to throw up. You then throw up and blood starts coming out your mouth. A nurse then sees you and helps you. "Page Bailey!" the nurse yells. You keep throwing up blood and bailey runs in. "Y/n, I'm taking you to surgery." Bailey says. "No surgery." you say while throwing up. "Page Alex Karev!" Bailey says while unlocking your gurney. Alex then meets her at the OR entrance. You then fall unconscious on the way there. "What the hell?" Bailey says.

Alex then meets her at the OR door. "I got paged? Omg y/n!" Alex says. "Look Karev, we need to get her into the OR, she doesn't want the surgery but your her next of Kin. Would you like me to proceed-" bailey says. "YES DO IT!" Alex says. They roll you into the OR and put you under anesthesia. Bailey opens you up. She then stares at your lung. She then throws a stitch on your lung. She make sure it stops bleeding. Your lung then starts bleeding again. "What the hell?" Bailey says.

After a hour in surgery your lung won't stop bleeding. "I may have to remove 2 of the lung lobes." Bailey mumbles. "Can she live?" The intern asks. Bailey then looks at your face with the tube in your mouth. "I hope so. The person who did this has a big lawsuit on their hands. Let's put her on the transplant list. She can survive for now but anymore trauma to the chest may affect the lung." Bailey says. Dr.Bailey then removes your 2 of the lobes on your lung. Your blood pressure starts dropping. "Her blood pressure is dropping Bailey." The anesthesiologist says. "That's normal. She has to adjust." Bailey says.

After a few minutes your blood pressure starts going back up.She then puts a chest tube inside of you and closes you up. She rolls you to the ICU. Arizona then comes in and sits in the chair next to you. She lays her head on the bed while your still asleep. After a few hours you start waking up. Your in so much pain in your chest. You then see Arizona laying down on you. You then squeeze her hand. Arizona then sits up and looks at you. "Your awake!" Arizona says. She gets up and kisses you.

You try to smile but your in so much pain. "P-pain medicine p-please." you say. "Of course. I'll be back in a few minutes." Arizona says as she gets up. Right when Arizona leaves Alex and Bailey walk in. "I told you no surgery." you mumble. "It was to save your life!" Alex yells at you. "Keep it down Alex." Bailey says. "We had to remove two of your lung lobes during surgery." Bailey says. "You did what!" you say. "We've gathered all the information about the batter who hit you, his name is Kayden Washington." Bailey says while putting a piece of paper on your tray.

"Would you like go get the hospital lawyers?" Bailey says. "Just get the hell out!" you tell. You yelling caused more pain in your chest. Bailey just stands there and looks at you. "I SAID GET OUT!" you say while your blood pressure starts rising. Bailey then walks out. Arizona then comes in. She unplugs your medicine tube and pushes some pain medicine. The medicine starts making your drowsy. Arizona then gets a page. "I'll be back soon, okay." Arizona says. She then walks out. You fall asleep.

You wake up the next morning to noises. You then look up to see who it is. It's Alex. You then roll your eyes and turn around. "Y/n." Alex starts saying. "I told you I didn't want the surgery! I put you as my next of Kin because I thought you would respect my wishes!" you yell. Alex then turns and closes the door. "I wanted to save your life!" Alex yells at you. "I CANT FREAKIN LOOSE MY BEST FRIEND!" Alex yells. "I DIDNT WANT THE SURGERY! NOW IM IN PAIN" you yell at Alex.

"YOUR SUPPOSED TO RESPECT MY WISHES. I DIDNT WANT THE DAMN SURGERY!" you yell at Alex. Your blood pressure then starts flying up. " DAMN IT ALEX!" you say while crying. You then start bleeding from your incision site. Alex runs over and stops the bleeding with his hand. "PAGE BAILEY." He yells. Bailey then runs in. "What the hell happened?" Bailey says. You are start sweating and become drowsy of how much blood you lost.

"She was yelling at me and then she started bleeding." Alex says. "She's to unstable to move." Bailey says. "Karev go get blood. She's A neg." Bailey says. Bailey grabs some gauze and stuffs your wound. Alex then runs out and goes to get you blood. Bailey puts the oxygen mask on you. She numbs your incision and starts stitching it back up. Alex then comes back with the blood. He sticks a needle in your arm and hangs the blood up. After bailey finishes she leaves.

You wake up the next day in more pain. Nobody comes to visit you for the rest of the day. You stay in the ICU and bailey comes to do routine check ups. Even Arizona hasn't came. You look at the paper with the persons name who had caused all of this. You grab your phone and text jackson. "You know how like your grandfather is famous or whatever. Don't y'all have like fancy lawyers?" you text. "Yeah, um why?" Jackson responds. "I need a lawyer. I'm sueing someone." you say. Jackson then responds okay and what time the lawyer will get there.

You sit your phone down and smirk. You then look at the hospital tv for a while.
