The new doctor.

Taking Zola

You wake up. You realize Derek and Meredith still aren't talking. You hear knocking on the door. You then go downstairs to see the social worker. "Hello?" you say while rubbing your eyes. "Does Dr. Grey and Dr. Shepherd live here?" Janet says. "Yes why?" you ask. "Are they home?" Janet asks. "I'm afraid not. They left for the hospital." you say. "Tell them that Janet is looking for them." Janet says as she walks away. You sprint upstairs and grab your phone.

You start speed texting Meredith.

"MEREDITH. JANET THE SOCIAL WORKER IS LOOKING FOR YOU AND DEREK! HER FACE DIDNT LOOK SO GOOD." you text while putting on scrubs.

You grab your keys and start running down the stairs when you fall and cut your forehead. "Oh well." you say. You then look for a bandaid and it's a hello kitty one. You put it on and then run to your car. You drive to hospital. You then find Bailey who's rushing someone into emergency surgery. "Scrub in with me y/n!" Bailey yells. You pull your scrub cap out your pocket. You the see Derek having a serious look on his face. "Y/n, where's Meredith?" Derek says.

"I don't know! She was gone when I woke up!" you say. "Tell her to find me!" Derek yells. "What's wrong Derek?" you say. "She stole a baby!" Derek says while turning the other way. "WHAT!" you yell down the hall. You then run to surgery and start helping Bailey. After 2 hours you and Bailey finish the surgery. "Take him to recovery and check on him hourly." Bailey says. You obviously not paying attention trying to page Meredith but she's not answering. "Johnson, something more important?" Bailey says. "I'm sorry Bailey, it's just that Meredith ran off with the baby." you say. "Oh, well go help everyone find her." Bailey says. "Thank you bailey." You say while walking into the the hall.

You start checking empty rooms when you get a page from Meredith. You then run down the hall to the page when you see Cristina walking in the same direction. "You get a page too?" you say. "Yea." Cristina says. You and Cristina then walk together until you get to a gated room in the basement. You slowly open the door to hear Zola babbling. You and Cristina then turn the corner to see Meredith holding Zola. "What the hell mer! Everyone is looking for you." you say walking towards meredith. "I got scared Janet was gonna take our baby." Meredith says. You then take Zola from Meredith's arms and hug her tightly.

"Well, let's just tell her you went to put Zola down for a nap." Cristina says. "I stole a baby for 4 hours.." Meredith says. You and Cristina then look at Meredith. "4 hours!" you yell. "I know, I know." Meredith says. "Derek is looking for you and Zola!" you yell. "Janet even came to our house!" you yell Meredith. "I don't know what to do." Meredith says clearly freaking out. You then think of an idea. "I'm getting Alex." you say. You hand Cristina Zola and run out to find Alex. You see Alex and grab his arm. "Let's go." you say. You and Alex start running down the hall.

"Go to a checkup room. Please. This is for mer." you say. Alex goes to a check up room and you run to get mer and Cristina. "Cmon." you say. You guys then sneak to the check up room. "I'm going to get Derek now." you say. They set Zola on the chair and Alex pretends he's giving her a check up. You run to get Derek. "I found her." you say out of breath. You and Derek then run to the check up room where Zola is babbling. Next thing you know Janet comes. You and Cristina then leave the room so Janet, Derek, Meredith, and Alex could talk.

You then sit at the desk and watch as they talk. Next thing you know Janet is walking out talking on the phone. You walk into the room. "What's happening?" you whisper. "Janet said she may have to take Zola away." Derek says. "No.." you say. You pick Zola up. You hold her up in the air. "Zolaaaaa!" you say in a way. You then kiss her on the forehead and hug her tight. "Your momma and dada will get you back soon." you say. You hand Zola back to Derek and leave the room.

You go to the residents lounge and change. You grab your keys and walk to the lobby. You then see Janet and Zola walking. You run up to Janet. "May I help you? I mean, this may be the last time I see my niece." you say. Janet hands you Zola and you walk with Janet to her car. You then put Zola in the carseat in the back seat. You give Zola a fist bump. "See you soon Zo." you say. You shut Janets car door and you watch as they pull off. You then go into your car. You just sit in the car for a hour listening to music. You then start driving home. You pull it the driveway to see Alex with his bags. You park your car and get out.

You help Alex carries his bags to his room. You then go in your room. You pull out your laptop and start ordering clothes. You then see some cute clothes for Zola. "She's coming back." you say to yourself. You then put some more clothes in the cart. You hit order. "There." you say while smiling. You lay in the bed and stare at your ceiling. You then fall asleep.

A week goes by. It's quiet in the house. Until someone unexpected shows up.
