Third person POV
The minute both of them arrived. Both Stan and Isobel knew something bad had happened. Since they did not come home with Rosa. They had blood tears rolling down their cheeks. They watched in shock as Eric fell to his knees and started to cry. Blood tears rolling down his Snow White cheeks. And godric, godric just stood there. Frozen in his spot. They saw the tears rolling down his cheeks. Isobel could feel her own tears welling up in her eyes. She knew exactly what had happened.
'I'm really on the ropes this time
I've been fighting all my life for you
I never should have said goodbye
But maybe that's what stupid people do'
"She's gone, isn't she?", Isobel asked. But she already knew. Her sweet child is gone. Her little Rosa. Her baby. She could feel the blood tears roll down her cheeks. She let out a sob. "Yes. W-We, we felt her soul go. S-She, she is no longer with us", godric stuttered as he too fell to his knees. Blood tears rolling down his cheeks, and dripping onto the wooden floors. If he had a heart, he would think it be broken. The love of his life, his love, his Rosa. Gone. Because he couldn't be cross with her and tell her no. And now, now she's gone and it's all his fault. It's his fault that his love is gone. His sweet little Rosa. Was too young to meet the white light and yet. She had.
''Cause you gave me peace
And I wasted it
I'm here to admit
That you were my medicine
Oh, I couldn't quit
And I'm down on my knees again
Asking
For nothing'
He clenched his eyes closed. A sob tore through his lips. He had no control over the sobs that shook his body. He had no worry on what people thought of him. He didn't care. His mate. He spent so long with her. All for it to end this way. How could he have let her go? He should have forbidden her. Maybe then, just maybe, she would still be alive. He shook his head. "I'm sorry, my love. I'm so so sorry", he whispered softly. He didn't bother to open his eyes when Stan left the room, hitting the wall with his fist in his exit. His whole being felt like it was fire. Hells fire. His whole existence felt like nothing. He didn't know what to do now. She was his whole world. His everything and more. She was the only reason why he stayed on this earth. Why he lived for so long. But now, he didn't see a reason to live anymore. But he knew he couldn't meet the sun. She wouldn't have wanted that. He knew what he had to do. He had to live for her. Make sure her memory never disappears or gets forgotten. He promised himself that.
'I promise, my love' he thought to himself.
'Thank you for the happiest year of my life
Thank you for the happiest year of my life, ooh'
He didn't know how long he stayed that way. He didn't care. He didn't want to move. He couldn't. He knew if he moved now, it meant excepting and living without her in his life. He just wanted to go back, where everything was perfect. His little mate would run into his arms and squeal happily to see him. He let out a choked sob. Remembering every time she would run and jump into his arms every time she would see him. He would be able to feel and see the love she had for him. And now, that love, it feels so cold. He never got to tell her he loved her, one last time. He felt someone grip his shoulder. It was a feminine touch. He knew it was Isobel. He opened his eyes and lifted his head. Only to see her own bloody teary face. She was mourning over the fact that she lost her child. But she would never be able to feel what he was feeling. Not in a million years. What he felt, was the lose of his soulmate. The other half of his forgotten soul. His one true love. He really and truly loved her.
All those years. Down the drain. All those sweet moments with her. All the smiles, the sweet 'I love yous' gone, forever. His love, his life, his soul. She made life fun, happy, and joyful. When before he felt that life was nothing worth it. But now, it felt just like that. But worse. He didn't want to live a life without her in it. Knowing that everyday he would have to wake up and know that she wasn't right next to him. Slowly making circles into his skin, a smile on her lips. Whispering a goodmorning to him. He could still remember all the times he would place a soft kiss to her forehead. He could still hear her giggles echoing in his ears.
Now it was all lost to him. All those memories of her, was all her had left of her.
'Ooh, ooh, ooh
Don't think I could forgive myself
I'm sorry for the ways that I used you
And I could care less right now
But you know, you hurt me pretty good too'
"She's never coming back. My love, my sweet Rosa. She's never coming home. My sweet sweet Rosa", he whispered as fresh tears rolled down his cheeks. He clenched his eyes closed again and cried. He didn't care if he got weird looks, or heard whispers. He didn't care one bit. He just wanted his Rosa back. He wanted his love back. He just wanted her back in his arms. To feel her love again. To feel her and know she was Alive and hear her heartbeat that was beating in her chest.
But he knew he would never hear it again.
He had lost the very meaning of life. He had lost his love.
His everything.
And it was his fault.
'Yeah, we made each other bleed
And we tasted it
I'm here to admit
That you were my medicine
Oh, love, I couldn't quit
And I'm down on my knees again
Thank you for the happiest year of my life, oh
Thank you for the happiest year of my life, ooh
So wake me up when they build that time machine
I want to go back
Wake me up when you were sleeping next to me
'Cause I really loved you, ooh
Thank you for the happiest year of my life
Thank you for the happiest year of my life ohh
Thank you for the happiest year of my life, yeah
Thank you for the happiest year of my life
Thank you for the happiest year of my life'
