"I think I'm gonna pass out."

Eunjin looked down a row towards a boy covering half of his face with the collar of his shirt, his eyes scared as he looked up at the screen above them.

They were now in the process of watching the video of a mother giving birth and about half of the class looked like they were going to get sick.

In the seventh row sat Eunjin and Jaemin, the two watching the video without feeling any sickness in the stomachs. Neither of them found the sight too pleasing but they still watched for class.

"Have you ever been to one of these classes before?" Eunjin suddenly asked, not making eye contact but directing her speech to Jaemin. He only grunted as a response, still watching the video. "Is it normal for people to be this queazy?"

Jaemin shrugged, sighing as he leaned backwards. "Never seen this video before but the people I'm usually around never really feel sick seeing blood and stuff."

Eunjin nodded without another word, leaning her head sideways as she grew with boredom, the sound of a woman going through contractions not piquing her interest.

It wasn't until she heard the sound of the woman's screams did she sit back up, her eyes going wide as they disassociated.

Nighttime blanketed the sky as people began heading inside, trying to stay out of sight from anyone with a dog tag necklace.

Sixteen-year-old Eunjin stood in a dark alley with another guy around her age as they looked over a quivering woman, her face covered in dark red blood as her hands shook.

"I told him I'd have the payment in as soon as possible, I swear!" The middle-aged lady quivered, her voice hoarse.

Eunjin scoffed, her eyes cold and apathetic at the sight. She wasted no time pulling out her gun, the sound of the safety clicking as she pointed the gun at the woman.

"We were generous and gave you an extra month, all for nothing now. Now the two of us are here instead of at home enjoying our free time," the boy spoke with anger.

"I promise, I'll have it- really, you've got to trust-"

"You know, shooting can be really fun," Eunjin suddenly commented, looking down at her gun as if she was examining it. "There's even this little saying I like to use sometimes. Would you like to hear it?"

The woman began screaming, with pain or fear, Eunjin didn't know. She didn't care either.

"Once to the chest,"
Bang. More screaming, this time mixed with immense agony.
"once to the head."
Bang. The woman's body dropped.

"That way, you know they're dead."

Eunjin quietly gasped as she felt like all the air inside her body had been knocked out. The students went unnoticed, the sound of the woman's screams too loud to hear Eunjin.

She began coughing, her head beginning to ring as she listened to the sounds of the woman screaming enclosing her.

She tried covering her ears with her hands, trying to stop the tears from falling. It wasn't working, she could still hear the curling sound from that one night echoing.

"Hey, hey, are you okay?"

Eunjin shook her head, her ears beginning to ring as if she could hear the gunshot echoing around the entire room at that moment.

"Do you need to go back to the nurse?" Jaemin asked, his eyebrows knitted together in worry as he watched the girl begin digging in her backpack.

Eunjin shook her head no, her shaky hands reaching into her backpack to pull out a few things. Her phone, headphones, and pills.

"Damn, I forgot my water," she muttered under her breath, noticing the lack of cold refreshment.

"Here," Jaemin said, pulling his backpack beside him and reaching inside for something. "You can have mine, I haven't used it yet."

Eunjin thanked him quietly, squinting her eyes as the woman's screams got louder. She tried to ignore them, shutting her eyes tightly as she swallowed the pills and grabbed her phone.

Her headphones plugged in quickly and she wasted no time going to Spotify and turning on anything her finger touched.
