A Few Weeks Later

Music blasted through the air around them all. Hundreds of drunk and sober bodies danced around, feeling each beat in their bones as they tapped around the dirty floors.

Colorful lights shone around the building, illuminating different faces in different colors and showcasing the multiple emotions of everyone.

"I'm so tired of you."

"No, you aren't. You love me, you adore me!" Yuna scoffed, trying to push Donghyuck away dramatically so she could walk away.

She wouldn't get rid of him that easily, his hands clamping around her waist almost as soon as she turned around. He smiled cheekily, his dimples popping out.

She didn't look back at him. Instead, she watched as Renjun, Jaemin, and Jisoo pushed past multiple bodies to get over to them.

"God, I'm so happy he's clinging to you now," Renjun said in a relieved voice, holding his chest as he sighed. Yuna glared at him.

"Fun fact, Yuna adores hugs. Her love language is physical touch, she just likes to be dramatic," Jisoo smiled teasingly.

Donghyuck took it as a sign to hug his girlfriend tighter while she only accepted her fate yet still sent glares towards Jisoo.

"You know, you only smile that big when you're bringing someone else misfortune," Jaemin laughed, hitting her shoulder lightly with his own.

Jisoo crossed her arms, watching Donghyuck and Yuna walk towards the bar where multiple people were letting out their worries to the overworked and tired bartender.

"Have you guys seen Jeno or Eunjin?" Mark yelled as he approached the three young adults. Their eyes all squinted as they tried hearing him over the music.

"No, where are the kids?"

Mark stepped closer to the three, pointing at a table just a few feet away. "Chaeyoung is playing a game with them. They all said they aren't fans of getting drunk in front of people."

"That's because Chaeyoung is a light drinker and passes out after a couple of shots," Jisoo nodded, remembering the first time they ever went out to drink after Chaeyoung hit the legal age.

"Yeah, Chenle and Jisung aren't much better," Jaemin shook his head.

"Shouldn't we go find Jeno and Eunjin?" Mark yelled, his eyes squinting a bit as he continued trying to read the others lips.

Renjun shrugged, "they're two grown adults. If they need our help, they'll press their jacket buzzers or their dog chain trackers. No need to worry, people."
