"What the hell does this mean?"
"Well," Jeno began, "I believe that this means that Eunjin's father has taken her hostage and is planning to kill her tomorrow. SO WHAT DO WE DO?"
Jihan jumped at his yell, "I don't know! We just need to find Eunjin as quickly as possible. We need to talk to Taeyong-"
"No," Jeno interjected. "If he knows that I've been around her for this long, he'll kill me."
"Jeno, you're being dramat-"
"Am I, Jihan?" Jeno scorned.
The three stood in silence until Jihan looked away from Jeno. "Okay, fine. No, you're not. But without him-"
"What about Chenle?" Jisoo offered, grabbing the price of paper from Jeno. "He's been working on some new equipment and he's got a huge database so we could probably figure out where Eunjin is."
The entire car ride was tense. Jeno drove Taeyong's car while the girls stayed with Jihan in her car yet everyone was anxious.
Jeno could swear his ears were ringing just thinking about everything that could be happening to Eunjin while she was stuck with her father.
He had already tried killing her before and failed. Would he ever just leave her alone? They weren't even in contact since she woke up and she was supposed to be hidden, how the hell did he even find out about her?
Jeno wanted to know and hopefully, he would find out at some point but it wasn't the time to worry about that. He just needed to make sure Eunjin got back to them safely.
He hadn't realized until he parked the car that a teardrop had fallen from his eye. He didn't pay any mind to it, wiping it away before getting out and jogging over to Chenle's office.
Jihan, Chaeyoung, Jisoo, and Yuna were following right behind him. The sudden appearance of the five made Chenle jump as soon as the door was opened.
"Um... can I help you?"
"Eunjin's been kidnapped by her father and we need you to figure out where he could've taken her please."
"..."
Chenle stared at the five with wide eyes, not expecting the sudden plea to find their kidnapped friend.
He coughed and took a sip of his glass before nodding slowly, "okay then. Do you have any idea who took her or where she could be?"
