I'm sick of the news

Anyone else see the news of that 16 year old who got shot and killed?

The story is she was going on a stabbing rampage, and even stabbed another black girl.
When an officer got the call for a girl going around stabbing people, he came just as she was about to stab someone, who was holding a puppy, in the neck, and the officer shot her.

And people are saying the officer is in the wrong for shooting someone who was about to stab a woman in the neck.

But no one wants to talk about the other black girl who was stabbed, since it was black-on-black violence. All you'll hear from the news is the officer shooting and killing a 16 year old person of color. But you don't hear the reason why.

And her mother, who didn't care about her much and happily gave her up to foster care, was acting like she was in grief for "her baby". She didn't care enough to be around her at all, and gave her up. But now that she can get on the news about it and get praise from people, she is acting grief stricken.

This time, the officer was in the right. Even if she were white, and I arrived at the time she was about to stab someone else, I'd shoot too if I were sent over for a call about someone going on a stabbing spree.
There's a line between police violence and justified. This was justified.

And where's the news of the other black girl, the one who was stabbed? She doesn't get any praise for surviving her stabbing. She doesn't get any recognition for her situation because it wasn't a hate crime. It was a black girl stabbing a black girl. But all there is on the news is white officer shoots black girl.
If it were a white girl stabbing a black girl, and the white girl was shot dead, people would've only been mad at the white girl, and get mad that "justice wasn't properly served." And her parents, foster or not, would be shunned for raising her to be this way.

There really needs to be riots against the news, the ones who refuse to tell the full stories, who leave things out and change things so that more war and violence can happen. We'd be a a whole lot better without the news shoving us into fear cages and prodding us like cattle.
