So there's a Karen movie in the works...
And by the sword of Frey, it looks HORRIBLE
It's supposed to be a crime drama thriller. Not comedy.
And it looks like it's mainly focused on racism, aside from that one instance of Skateboarders. Like that's all a Karen is. Just a racist white person.
They could've made a comedy about a Karen who cuts people off, ruins kids parties, gets mad at kids, and do the usual thing we see Karens do. Even add some racism, and homophobia, because that's also what Karens do. They can be racist, homophobic aholes. But the sole focuse if this is racism.
They should've made it a cool comedy. Like a Karen is terrorising a neighborhood and whoever she crosses. So the neighborhood kids take it upon themselves to drive her out.
Instead, they're making some film about a racist white woman, and that's all it seems like.
And the like to dislike ratio says it all. The likes are only in the hundreds, while the dislikes are in the thousands!
If I ever go into the movie buisness, I'm making a comedy called "We're Not Gonna Karen!"
Because this...this looks like a low budget comedy TRYING to seem dramatic.
No wait...
I've seen low budget comedies acting dramatic that actually ARE funny! This is just so dumb!
